Best dog toy ever! We have a blue healer. If you know anything about blue healers, you know they are extremely active and need lots of stimulation. Not only is this toy durable and stands up to his aggressive chewing. It’s also great for fetch. Due to its irregular shape when you throw it it bounces and completely unexpected directions. Which makes it even more fun for our dog to play fetch with. He also plays with it constantly by himself. Tossing it in the air waiting to see which direction it’s gonna go for him to chase it down. He love these toys so much that I’ve bought several packages of them because he tends to hide things. They are pricey for a dog toy, but well worth it. This puzzle toy has quickly become one of my dog’s favorite sources of entertainment. It keeps him busy, challenged, and happy. The variety of difficulty levels gives him a challenge, and it is so fun to watch him work through the puzzles. Even when he is just playing with individual pieces, he is entertained. It is also very user-friendly. Setup is simple, and it is not overly complicated for the owner to manage. Cleaning is surprisingly easy, too. The pieces wipe down well, and nothing traps food or slobber, which is a huge win compared to some other toys we have tried. Functionality-wise, it is fantastic. The levels of difficulty actually work as intended, and I like being able to adjust them based on my dog’s mood. It is durable, too. The weight and sturdiness of the pieces keep them from sliding around too much during play, and they are tough enough to withstand my Aussie’s powerful chewing without damage. I also like how it is numbered so you can quickly move onto the next level without too much thought. With that, I have noticed the higher levels are challenging, and my Aussie has yet to get through them all. Eventually he gets bored and stops trying. It is a high-quality, fun, and engaging toy that provides mental stimulation, holds up to rough play, and is easy for me to maintain. I ordered this for my medium sized “mutt” dog, she’s pretty but not bright. She was not able to figure out how to get the treats out. There are different challenge levels that you can make with these blocks and even on the easiest one she still had trouble. I gave it to my friend who has a smart dog and they had no problems with it. Matter fact, they loved the toy so much they plan to order one as a gift. The product is easy to wash and seems pretty durable; even after the treats are out of the compartments if a dog chews on it, it seems to hold up pretty well. ... show more

I bought this for my dog. It keeps her busy for a little while but I would have to but additional sets to really challenge her. They are durable and live up to her aggressive approach, but once she gets the treats out she's done with them.

We have a 50 lb., 19-month-old adopted male Portuguese Water Dog, after a lifetime of females (including 3 PWDs raised from puppyhood). He's an aggressive chewer who has a hard time entertaining himself, and we both work, so it's been a challenge finding toys that interest him AND last. In fact, it's been next to impossible. When we got Kobe, he was 16 months old and had spent most of his life either running wild with his littermates and dam, or in a crate. Didn't know about leashes. Never used stairs. Thought the car was only for painful trips to the vet. Neurologically, he was about 10 weeks old, fascinated by cars, trams, people, everything he hadn't been exposed to during his short life. We bought this for him when we first adopted him, and Kobe had little or no interest. The only things he'd been given to chew on were BeneBones, so toys like this were really unfamiliar. It's a slow process, bringing him up to his proper neurological age, but we were greatly encouraged about a week ago when we tried this again. He is absolutely fascinated by it. Plays for hours. We fill it with his regular kibble, and he eventually gets it apart, eats the kibble, then continues playing with the pieces. Part of the enjoyment for him is that because of the shape of each piece, he never knows where they'll land. And for us, seeing him now able to take it apart is a real joy. So thank you, HoundGames! Our 2 yr old busy Mini Goldendoodle (24lbs) looooves this! The material is super tough, yet malleable; he has chewed away and you can’t even tell. We got the 8 pack, worth it! I load them all up with mostly kibble and a treat or two. It took just a short time for him to figure out how to really get it apart. On 1 it came apart really easy for him. We are mostly on 3s, with 2s. When he gets down to only 2 pieces connected it’s usually a 3 and it takes a little longer to get apart due to less leverage. It is mostly easy to use but the higher the plug end is, the more effort it will also take for YOU to get it together. The numbers are a little hard to see, more so on the yellow over the blue. If you use kibble like me, don’t fill it too full as then it won’t connect fully and be prepared for kibble to fly everywhere when they finally get it off. There are holes in the plug part, if you put something in it like peanut butter, remember to poke the holes out! Eew! Other than that they are fairly easy wash out in the sink! Overall, this has become our go to, extended focus, quiet time, [essentially a] slow feeder! ... show more

    • Durable and adjustable!

Ordered the 6 pack first. I originally ordered for a new foster pup who is a chewer but once I saw the dogs interest and how durable they were, I ordered another set of four and have split them up amongst my other two dogs. Each of the “plugs” is a different size so you can make them stay together tighter and the dog has to work harder for the treat. It takes a bit for them to figure out if in too hard of a lock so it’s cool that it gives you different options to link each piece. You can do two or more so it’s easy to split amongst multiple pups as you need. I’ve really liked these and I think it’s fair to say they do too! ... show more
