I needed to expand my foster kittens' world as they are not quite ready to explore their bedroom and there are too many breaky items in the bathroom. The Romantic Bear Pet Playpen checked all the boxes for me. It has 3 points of entrance and egress, all with lockable zippers. The material, including the zippers, seems to be sturdy and not easily torn by a claw or chewing (unless you have a dog or very determined cat). The playpen had no weird smells detectible by either me or the cats. There are eight poles to stabilize the playpen, as well as four ground stakes if you are of a mind to put your animal outside in it. It was easy enough to assemble and flexible enough for me to modify their dwelling. The green is a nice minty color though it matters not a whit to them. I got the medium but if this were just for one animal (that's bigger than a kitten), I'd consider getting a large, especially if they need room to do whatever animals do in a kennel. I'm definitely happy with my purchase, though. Two thumbs up from me!

Excellent for small kitten(s)! I got the Small for an abandoned kitten i’m raising. It’s perfect. It’s very easy to assemble, and unlike some others here I find it to be very good quality. It’s ultralight so moving it around the house is a breeze and i’m dealing With a broken vertebrae. I read others had zipper issues and thus far I cannot say the same. The zippers are sturdy and I’ve been putting them thru their paces. The mesh is strong and durable and hasn’t relented to small sharp claws yet. I do feel the kitten is completely secure and safe when I place her in it and I have zero fear of her getting out. I have yet to need to fold it back up for storage and yes it does look tricky but I kept the diagram instructions and i’m sure I’ll figure it out.

I bought this nearly a year ago. I came back to confirm that it’s worth the rave reviews😍! Bought as a temporary replacement for a sturdier travel crate but this quickly became our go-to for vacations. We’ve taken this on multiple extended vacations with our small dog and it’s the perfect home away from home for him. This is perfect for non chewers and dogs that don’t challenge fences. Not recommended for chewers or energetic dogs. We leave our crate trained dog in it when we go out to non dog friendly places on vacation. The crate is a well built tent style that holds up nicely given the Materials and price. Folds and Fits into carryon beautifully. Zippers lock and plenty of ventilation. It is very lightweight and the tent fits nicely in a hotel room or just about anywhere. I like that I don’t have to worry about accidents in a hotel room and the dog seems safe and comfortable in it. No padding or sturdy bottom so small blanket recommended. It can flip on its side if the dog jumps on the inside wall, like if he’s excited to see you before you can let him out. We have had water bowls inside tip over as a result but the bottom is water resistant and a sit command solved the problem for us. Ours will probably wear out in 2-3 years with fairly heavy use (4 or 5 road or plane trips per year with a mostly calm dog) but I will buy the same thing again when that happens.

My pup was going to have knee surgery. She is a 15.6 lb Chorkie and i needed a space for her to recover after surgery where she would be comfortable. I got the medium for up to 25 lb dogs, and it has enough space for me to put a dog bed in one side and the other side I could put in a water dish. This was EASY to set up and is really perfect for what I needed which was to keep her sedentary to recover after surgery. I also have cats and they like to just go into the play pen to lie down. My dog also went in on her own when the door was open to have a nap. This doubles as a place for them to go into and lay down. I would not call this a play pen since there is not a lot of room for playing. It is equivalent to a crate to keep your pet inside a small area, it is light so you can travel with it, and easy to set up. For my purposes, it was perfect. Overall, great buy.

Kept our 2 kittens in it for periods during the day when they were too young to wander. There is plenty of room for a small litter box, food & water dish plus room to play and sleep. Once they were bigger we kept their supplies in there, but left the door unzipped - they still went in to eat & use the litter box. It’s a great setup - especially with the zipper-top for easy access to the litterbox & food. Highly recommend!

Well made playpen for our dog and easy to put up and take town. Used it recently for a summer BBQ and our dog is a puppy and it was plenty big enough for him to roam around and have all his toys with him. Would recommend this product.

The product is exactly as described. Both of our dogs have taken to sleeping in it without a problem. We have an elderly dog that needs to be restricted at night so it has solved this problem for us. I think it provides a feeling of security for him.
