I originally purchased one of these to hold an injured 7 week old kitten, (hit by a car) lost the use of her front left leg so she needed to be confined, too young to cast, but I digress. This playpen was great for the first week, but she's growing and getting better and a little more active and was making a mess with the litter. I needed something bigger but didn't want to break the bank so I ordered a 2nd and attached them, leaving the middle open so she can go back and forth. One side has litter and food, the other a nice cushiony bottom and toys. The cushion makes one side higher than the 2nd but it works and gives her practice going up and down. She's really happy in there now and much less messy. I used zip ties and a couple binder clips and voila! she has a pass thru to each side. She's happier, I'm happier not having to clean it ever 5 seconds and it was a cost effective way to house this little one. No worries, she's already got 2 options for a furever home but she needs to see a vet about possible amputation of the front foot.....other than that, she's perfectly healthy, happy and playful kitten. Yep, those are flea traps you see in the photo, also purchased here, great product as well, but luckily we're in the clear now and everything is going wonderfully. These playpens super easy to put together and even has stakes to put outside if you wanted. Buy it. Well made and durable. If it's holding this very active baby, it'll serve the purpose for what you need. 10 out of 10 for sure. Oh and it comes with a little carrying case so you can take it on the go. Very happy with this/these playpens.

This was a life saver. Before I moved, I brought this up and down the stairs of my house when I wasn't able to watch the puppy all of the time. Very convenient, portable and ease of use. Brought it with my on the plane to our new apartment. Puppy's getting a little big so he topples the crate over when the top is open. Because of that, I wish there was a way to anchor the crate down. It's definitely worth the money. The quality is decent and it's relatively easy to assemble/disassemble. Zippers are nice and don't snag. Though it is easy to disassemble, I've had a bit of trouble getting it to fold back into the pouch it came in. It does NOT replace a crate. It's more of a temporary fix, or a portable crate. It can be toppled over easily if your pet has enough weight (or determination), so it may be a little unsafe.

Very roomy, I purchased 2 mediums for our travels. I chose this side so my dogs can either room together or have plenty of space depending on the situation. Well made, my dogs are not destructive, so these should last for years to come. Front and back zippered mesh openings with roll up velcro tabs, top opening, front and back corner pockets for small storage, Black Mesh surround for airflow but will help against bright light. Support rods connect easily and slip down into 8 support slots. Smooth base semi padded for easy clean up with a damp cloth. My dog’s donut bed will fit in each one or you can use a rectangle dog pad or bed or a folded blanket or towel. My photo shows them stacked but they are NOT sturdy enough to stack with animals inside.

I actually used this for a foster kitten and found that it worked quite nicely as a short-term kennel. It seems like most pet playpens are hexagonal in shape, which I have not found very practical for organizing or cleaning. The rectangular shape made it simpler to tuck bedding, food/water bowls, and a litter box into separate corners. Kittens tend to make a mess when litter box training, so I used both washable whelping and disposable pee pads on the bottom to make daily cleaning more efficient and keep the bottom of the playpen itself unsoiled. And since whelping and disposable pads are usually rectangular, it's far easier to fit them neatly into a rectangular playpen than a hexagonal one. The medium sized playpen (approx. 31x23x21") was perfect for the foster kitten when she was very small, but once she was about 8 weeks old it was clear that she needed more kennel space. She became accustomed to being able to run around a room with some older foster kittens and explore the common areas of the home while supervised, so being stuck in the kennel at night must have started to feel restrictive. She became restless and vocal in her objections. So I transferred her to the large size (approx. 43x33x23") of same kennel, and she was much more content with her accommodations after the upgrade. Assembly is quick and easy. The vertical support rods make the sides pretty sturdy, and the only real structural weakness is the top. The other foster kittens would jump up and run across it, pushing the middle down. The 12 pound resident cat attempted it once, and it pushed the top down to the bottom like an elephant sitting on a small trampoline. It's just not built to have weight exerted on it. The side panels made of netting snagged a little but held up surprisingly well to the tiny death blades when she climbed up them "Ninja Warrior" contestant-style. After the foster kitten was adopted, trying to fold the shell back into the proper flat shape to fit into the storage pouch proved to be the biggest issue I had with this product. I tried to follow both the diagram and the written instructions, but repeatedly couldn't get it quite right. I ended up with a slightly wonky result and concluded, "Oh well, that's probably good enough..."

Amazing foldable outdoor house for William. Zippers are sturdy, screening is strong. Took maybe 3 minutes to set up. Using this in the car when we travel on long trips and also when we sit outside in our yard. I would NOT leave your cat outside unsupervised in this Romantic Bear screen house. Easy setup/take down. We got the medium for our 11 lb Jack Russell mix. Great for home and travel. Lightweight and Durable. Comfortably fits a 23x18 pad with plenty of space for water and/or food bowl and squeakies. Quickly assembles and easy enough to fold back in compact case. She took to it right away on her own and claimed it as her space immediately, providing a safe space. Top unzips/opens for easy access, side panels roll up and hold in place with Velcro. Perfect to contain her on a quick getaway. We are very pleased with this product and so is our doggo.

I really liked this playpen because of it's rectangular shape. It just fits better in a small room against a wall or in a corner. The circular shaped pet playpens just take up way too much space and I find the zipper can snag easily on a circular track. I love the all mesh front, back, and top entrances, and the handles to lift the playpen was a great idea. The sticks that you slide in to make it take shape did help it to seem more sturdy. It was fairly easy to wipe down and clean although I would love for these playpens to include some kind of removable floor I can just take out and dump debris into the trash and rinse off. Now, my ONLY complaint about this playpen is FOLDING IT . First, when it arrived it was folded, and because of this kind of folding, it bent the zipper track on one of the entrances warping the "teeth" to the track which caused the zipper teeth to not engage properly, so it would split open the track. Also, that kind of bending to fold it up small permanently bent one of the top metal support flexible bars ( idk what it's called exactly). So, I sent it back for another one, and I had the same problem with the replacement, so I just kept it, and I managed to get the zipper track to close and I just try not to use that entrance. It was also VERY hard for me to fold it back up so small to put it in the bag, also I did not want to continue bending that metal support bar or zipper track for fear that it might eventually break. I would love it if the company could design a new way of folding it (maybe like an umbrella; long instead of circular) so that it doesn't bend and damage the zipper or metal supports, but other than that it was a really nice and sturdy enclosure for my kittens. I am going to purchase the Large Size because I really do like the design and sturdiness of this playpen. The fabric is also nice and tough like canvas which is wonderful, and the mesh netting on the windows and doors held up well to kitten claws, NEED I SAY MORE, LOL! For the price and durability I would recommend it . ***UPDATE 8/10/2023*** NO LONGER RECOMMENDED 😿👎 ...so at first I thought this playpen was sturdy that i went ahead and bought 2 more, but after a short amount of time, the rods began to bend on all of them and then one by one snap in half on the little connector pieces. I tried to tape the connector pieces back together because it is past the Return for a Refund window, but the rods won't stay together....mind you, my kittens aren't even in the playpens all the time, just when i need to contain them like after a bath to dry off, or to eat inside of them. Also, because of the bending and snapping of the connector pieces, it made holes in the mesh pockets that you slide the rods into, so the rods are constantly popping out. All 3 pet playpens are now unusable because of this and I'm afraid to put my kittens inside because I don't want them to be poked by the rods. I am trying to explain this to the company, and they only offered to replace 1 of the playpens, but I bought 3 that are all having the same problem. Hopefully they will do the right thing and help me with a solution to replace/fix/refund all 3 of them because they are all unsafe and unusable and now I have nothing. I was expecting that these playpens would be durable for a while because it is meant to contain an animal...Dissatisfied and Disappointed Customer .
