Bought two 40" sets, installed it outside. Installation was straightforward. There was no problem attaching the two sets together. It keeps my 20 lb puppy safely, and will accommodate his growth. The stakes jam down into the dirt well, even in rocky New England soil. I didn't find a way to install it firmly on a brick patio, so I worked around it. I love the black/silver hammer finish paint. There were various accessories I didn't use that let you use it indoors. The sets include some Velcro straps I didn't see the purpose for, but are presumably good for something. If you install the segments in a straight line, they become easy to tip over. A little curvature or zigzag is needed, and then it's firm. ... show more

The fence panels were very easy to assemble - I recommend using a hammer and some zip ties to fasten the ends to existing fences / structures to add to its sturdiness. If you can hammer the stakes into the ground just a bit further that would help too. I wouldn’t recommend for younger big dogs that have a lot of energy because I could easily see them pushing the panels over, but it seems to be working pretty well for my 9 and 10 year old Huskies. When the package arrived, some of the rings that the stakes thread through were crushed, which cause the paint on the stakes to get stripped off while I was installing them - as a result, rusting could be an issue in the future but we haven’t had any rain yet. ... show more

Easy to put together, but not ask of the rods were straight and the holes didn't lineup well. A dog outside of the pen charged at my dog and the panel bent easily. I should have spent more moneyed for a better product. I do not recommend.

I’m very happy with this 40-inch pet playpen. It was easy to assemble, feels sturdy, and gives my pug plenty of room to move around and play. The height is perfect—it keeps my dog safely inside while still allowing good visibility. I use it outdoors under a canopy, and it fits together really well. The panels are strong, the gate is convenient, and you can arrange the shape however you need. If you’re looking for a durable, spacious playpen for your dog, I highly recommend this product. This is a beautiful play yard for my small puppy. Easy to assemble and looks great. I’m hoping the company sells additional 25 inch panels for when my puppy gets older. Super great pen I highly recommend it. Well worth the cost.
