The item is described as "indoor and outdoor", but it's not much for indoors. It is very good for outdoors, because it has spikes that go into the ground, but how about indoor use? Our pups are very active (Border Collies) and each weight ~ 25 lb at five months old and are still growing. The playpen has nothing to keep it stable on the floor and when they are playing this thing is just flying all over the floor each time one of them (or both!) hit any of the side panels. That was disappointing, because we needed indoor playpen more than outdoor, because we already have enclosed backyard for them to run. I think that this playpen might be good for one pup only and preferably of a smaller breed. ... show more

Only received one gate, not two. Stakes are not long enough to hold panels tightly in ground. Seems a little flimsy, so am waiting to see how it holds up to any windy conditions or normal activity from a small dog.
