We bought several of these to fence in our back yard because we're in a rental and cant instal an actual fence. It works great, but I would recommend a hammer or something to drive the stakes into the ground.

Excellent panels when you need a somewhat supervised containment area and do not have a full yard fence. The panels are quite sturdy when you use a circular or octagon shape but you may need some peace of mind reinforcement if doing longer straight line runs (e.g. zip ties etc.). The stakes on this pen are excellent since they have the ball top and rod design versus flimsy coat hanger wire some of the pen panels provide. I combined this 45 inch set with a 30 inch to create a moat style setup where our tiny dog has the shorter height panel area but further in, we have the extra containment of the 45 inch panels for the larger dogs that can hurdle the smaller panel section. These are also quite forgiving of terrain choppiness so you don't have to be an engineer to get it stood up. Overall a huge time saver for potty breaks so you aren't standing around while they find the perfect toilet location. For the price, these are an excellent value for square footage of pen area especially the 16 panel option. ... show more

Used this as a gate to keep my dog out and off of my grass. Ordered 3 boxes and have a few panels to spare. They are great material and do the job just well. Very satisfied with my purchase. With the 3 boxes I ordered I have 3 entry gates that are easy enough for my children to utilize.
