The bedding for this is horrible. It’s easy to put together but not easy to put the canvas on it and zip up the bottom.

This ended up being a really nice little retreat for my dog. She likes having a quiet place to curl up, and the enclosed design makes it feel like her own space. It was easy to put together, and the frame keeps everything standing up nicely without feeling flimsy. The reversible cushion is a nice touch. One side is soft and cozy, while the other is better for warmer days, so it’s nice to have both options. The cushion is also easy to take out when it’s time to clean. The whole pet house is lightweight enough to move around the house, but it stays in place well thanks to the non-slip bottom. Overall, it feels well made, looks nice, and gives pets a comfortable place to relax. My dog started using it the same day, which says a lot.

I ordered this indoor dog house ahead of the 4th of July, wanting to give my dog a comfortable place to retreat that didn’t resemble the crate I used when he was a puppy. Once assembled, the house measures approximately 29 inches long, 25 inches wide, and 26 inches tall. Assembly took about 30 minutes, and the included directions were clear. No tools are required, and each part is labeled, which makes the process straightforward. The structure is made from a thick grey canvas that forms the floor, sidewalls, and roof in one piece. A long zipper allows the cover to slip over the frame easily once assembled. The included mat and mat cover match the house’s grey canvas on one side and feature a soft plush material on the other. I opened the padding insert from its vacuum packaging first and let it expand for a few hours before placing it inside. There are two side windows that roll up and secure with large plastic toggles that latch into loops at the top. I was able to get the canvas cover over the frame on my own, though letting the cover sit out for a bit after unpacking would have relaxed the fabric and made it even easier. The finished house has a welcoming look. With the window flaps down, it feels dark and cool inside. After I set it up, my dog explored it and later in the day I found him comfortably stretched out in his new “dog cave.” Now that it’s assembled, I plan to bring it along when visiting family and friends—since he always travels with me, it will be easy to set up and give him a familiar space wherever we go.

This dog house, once completely built ended up being larger than I expected. I ordered it for my chihuahua and it's absolutely big enough for my shepherd/lab mix LOL!! Pillow was in a vacuum sealed pouch that was meant to expand after breaking the seal. This was disappointing as the fluff inside doesn't completely fill out it's encasement and isn't evenly distributed throughout, leaving weird gaps of no fluff/support. I inagine for th3 dog this is not as comfortable as it could or should be. The assembly was fairly easy until you get to the part where you have to fight the cover to go over the frame. I would say the quality of this item falls in the 3 star category, not amazing and not garbage...just kind of middle of the road for me, imo. Zipper functions fine. Lightweight without the pillow inside. The true test..from the dogs perspective.. they both hate it. Neither of my dogs will stay inside and lay down. I have put them in and they just don't seem to like it. This is ultimately my reason for giving it 3 stars. Mediocre quality/comfort and my dogs refuse to use it. Bummer. I would say for anyone that needs a travel dog house, this might be great and just what they need. Unfortunately for my house, this wasn't a winner.

We are getting ready to move into a bigger home and we were worried about how our little Chi-yorkie will adjust as we are coming from a much smaller home. This is the perfect "home" for him to hide away in when he gets overwhelmed. Although there were numerous pieces, assembly went easy and fast. I was impressed that they even included additional hardware "just in case". The exterior is a canvas like material with a rubber-like backing. Inside, it is spacious and airy, especially loving the windows for ventilation. Once assembled I find the dog house to be very stable and durable overall. The dog house is very lightweight and easily moveable when needed. The included bed is a nice touch, although I find it could use a little more filling, especially for an older dog. I will be keeping this in our master bedroom so Radar can get his solitude when he is ready. I find this dog house to be a great value for the money and the quality I can easily see.
