This heater is awesome! I love the auto on/off feature as this maintains the set temperature through out the whole night. I am leaving a star out as it has shut off once on me completely with an error code? Very weird but it has only happened once so it hasn’t been a big deal at all. This has easily kept my chicks very nice and warm in 30 degree temps here in florida nights. ... show more

    • Does Not Resume Heating if Powered Momentarily Interrupted!
WARNING: If power is interrupted momentarily heater does not continue operation but goes into standby mode with no heat for your pets until you notice and turn it back on. WiFi too weak to allow remote monitoring in my case.

I installed it in a top corner of a doghouse that is about 4' long x 2.5' wide x 2'+ high. It cycles as I programmed it. I installed the thermometer in the same end of the doghouse so I questioned if the temperature in the end with the door was warm enough. So I put a remote thermometer in the house across from the door opening (it's covered with a thick vinyl flap). What I found is: outside temp 20-35 deg fahrenheit, heater set at 74, the end by the door was about 15-20 degrees cooler than the heater was set for. I would probably relocate the heater to the center of the doghouse if I had to do it again. But my dog seems to like it as is. He curls up on the warm end when needed but I usually see him stretched out with his face in the cooler end. ... show more

It is small but it functions great, easy to operate and love the wifi connectivity. We were out of town and had no issues with the adjustments. The heat level adjusts very easily.
