It gets the job done, but has unsealed particle board edges. I’ll be looking for a non-toxic waterproof caulk to seal the base so it doesn’t swell if the pups have an accident or drool.

For how much I spent on it. I would have expected it to be exactly what it says. It's not waterproof and the very sturdy. It's not even made of good wood. It's made of partical board. Will not with stand a strong dog if they aren't crate trained already and is ok with being in a crate. If your dog is a chewer or destroyer. They will destroy it in seconds. Strongly advise against putting anything heavy on top of it. My dog broke out less than 10mins. Left the house and came back in 10mins. She was freely roaming the house. ... show more

We haven't even had this piece 5 days and it's already broken. One of my dogs literally broke the 2 bars the very next morning after it was built and then I came home this morning and my other dog removed another bar from her side. For us spending as much as we did on this it should have been made more durable. I would not recommend this for anyone who has a medium size dog. ... show more
