I’ll give it 5 stars because of the quality of the product. It’s an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture. It’s heavy duty for sure. I’d give it 3 stars when it comes to the build. Parts of the directions were wrong, the drawers to be exact. Drawings and directions. Thankfully my husband and I have built every piece of furniture from ikea (haha) so we aren’t dumb dumbs but holy moly, thankfully we caught the mistakes and were able to correct before having to take apart. This isn’t a first time building project this took 4 hrs with two people. So be aware, it’s heavy and it’s definitely a two man job. Happy with purchase and my pups love it. It fits two mini bull terriers with extra room.

Beautiful and very heavy duty. This kennel/shelf is a lot more sturdy than I expected. It is beautiful, has clear instructions and is packaged well. I'm very happy with the wood grain and color. I would recommend that you are positive that this is what you want before you purchase it, because it is incredibly heavy and would be nearly impossible to return, even if you didn't open the box. One thing that the listing was missing is the internal dimensions of the kennel itself. The dimensions are approximately 22" by 32". It is most suitable for a small or medium dog. Although, we have a large dog who prefers a smaller kennel and it works for us. She is around 65lbs, but it is a tight fit and I wouldn't recommend it for most dogs over 55lb. A few things to keep in mind as you are assembling it: - The box itself is incredibly heavy. It's a team lift. - You'll need a lot of space. The instructions have you assemble it mostly upside down and then you'll have to turn it over. Again, this requires two people to accomplish. - Do not over tighten any of the screws as they do strip. This is mentioned in the directions, but worth reiterating. - You'll need some time to complete the assembly. There are many many parts... It took us around 4 hours to assemble. We usually take a bit longer than average, but I'd imagine it would take others at least 3 hours. Overall, I highly recommend this furniture dog crate. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Very nice piece! Definitely a 2 person job. Took a couple hours to put together. Very sturdy. Clean look for a piece of furniture and able to get away from dog crates. 4 star beacuse when putting together we noticed some dings and dents in some pieces from shipping and handling. The boxes were pretty busted up.

This is a big beautiful and sturdy piece of furniture. It did take 2 people 4.5 hours to put together! It’s very heavy. Make sure you put it together where you want it to stay. I have two mini dachshunds and the crate spaces are twice as big as their metal crates. Very happy with this purchase

The media could not be loaded. My Dog crate arrived went no dents, scratches, or any defects! Assembly: I was looking at previous reviews and even though most customers stated that the instructions were clear and fairly easy, but the timeframe to complete was averaging 4-5 hrs. I did not want to take that chance I hired someone on Thumbtack, it was a couple and they finished assembling the crate in no more than 45 mins. The quality of this crate and craftsmanship is ahhhhhmazing! It’s worth the price for sure! It’s very sturdy and extremely heavy. So with that being said be sure and clear this is the crate you want because it’ll be hassle returning it if you need to. That’s why the seller most definitely needs to inspect each part before shipping to save the buyer any headaches or at least provide a fair discount. Im happy that all went well in my case. Also I want to add that the crate itself is good for small to medium dogs. Not for big dogs. Lastly, if you live in a small space ideally this is not the crate for you. I live in apartment and the area near the crate is pretty crammed. Im hope this information helps.

This crate is beautiful. Lovely piece of furniture making my home a home. Took me 2 days to put together but, worth it. I have an 80 lbs German shepherd and a 67 lbs GSD and neither dog could fit comfortably. I liked the piece so much and have no intention of taking it apart to send back to manufacturer. I’ve decided to lengthen one side of kennel by removing the center shelves, removing panel to lengthen kennel space. One dog can be comfortable this way. The other small kennel can be used for storage. Be careful of measurements and your dogs needs.
