Used this for our older dachshund and she loved it! She kind of got kicked off the bigger do beds from our larger breeds so this was her little safe space. Very easy for her to get in and out and to move around when she wanted to stretch without leaving her little cave. I would say she was very comfortable in there. This was the perfect size for my pup ( ShihTzu) when I traveled to pick her up. Setup very nicely in the hotel, quality made, very nice padding for the bottom, easy to unfold and set up, kept my furbaby secure and safe and the zipper worked nicely. We love this item... for its ease in putting up or taking down. It has a small pad for bottom, but for extra comfort we tried putting a comfy dog bed inside. Unfortunately it was too plush and raised our shih tzu up a little higher making it easy for him to jump out. Not good if you're outside and can't have him wandering off. We solved the problem using one that was a little less plush and our pup loves it. (Oh, and a flap can be left open if you want your pup to come and go as they please.) ... show more

It worked for what I needed. I really appreciated the washable pee pad, but it’s weird because it’s not the same shape as the pen. It’s a square pad so it doesn’t fit super well. There was also a seam that seemed to be missed when sewn in. It exposes the metal structure a bit.

It's perfect for a small dog or cat, but I wish it were just 1 inch taller so my cat could sit up. It's lightweight and easy to assemble (you just unfold it) and I like that the pad is washable since my cat sheds a lot. The pad smelled industrial when I opened the package but the smell disappeared after airing out for 24 hours. All in all a good value and serves my purpose. This playpen was built so so the zipper came unsewed the first time I used it. It was ok in size since my puppy was teacup breed there was plenty of room. And the money value was a plus.
