This was super easy to install and fits great in the back of my Subaru outback. My dog has been destroying the interior up front, so he is now sequestered to the back. He gets very triggered by other dogs and people when the cars parked, but I don't think he will be able to get this barrier down easily. If I find any issues in the long run, I will update my review. But so far this gate has great functionality, is pretty thick and stable, looks great, was super fast to install (so it won't be a big deal if I need to take it out and put it in regularly), and I think it will be better for the dog if there is a car accident, so it's added safety for my leather seats and the dog.

Purchased this after trying 2 other types from PetSmart that had adjustable vertical bars. The ones with the vertical bar didn't work in my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Sport because the distance between the floor (trunk area) and the ceiling is shorter than the lowest height on the bars by around 2-3". This barrier is perfect. It adjusts side to side and attaches to the headrest bars with a bungee cord. It took 10 minutes to open the box and install the barrier. Some reviews mentioned noise/rattle, but I don't experience that rattling. My dog (a Goldendoodle) gets anxious in crates when he's alone, and he did get a little anxious his first time behind these bars (lol). However, he was unable to get free. (He tried to chew the bar on one side. To try and squeeze by, I imagine.) He can no longer jump over the seats to sit in the driver's chair! I give 5 stars for easy installation, being very sturdy and secure, fit, quality, and price. The bag it comes with will be very useful when I need to take them down and store them.

This is a great item. It is made of very sturdy materials and has a simple, efficient design. I have a very energetic Lab puppy and this fit in my 5th gen 4Runner perfectly. There were no gaps she could get her head through, etc... It assembles/disassembles in under 5 minutes. Comes with a carrying case which all parts fit into for storage. I am really glad I purchased this.

This car dog barrier is easy to install/adjust as well as take off and put on. It keeps my dogs in the back of the car and it's also easy to see through while driving. For the price, it's well worth it.

I like this design better than the 3-piece units. It's easy to install with the aupporting hooks and the sliding sides help get a perfect fit, plus one person can install it without help. It feels secure & does not rattle.

I am so happy with this purchase! I like how the unit folds in half and has a simple carry case. The included bungees are very nice and firm. With a bit of trial and error, I was able to pretty quickly get this adjusted and secured to the back of the front seats in my SUV. Having the two seats at the same position helps immensely! I purchased a second for the back of the back seats to contain my pup and that one went on much easier. Maybe because it was the second one I tried, or just that the back seats aren't adjustable?!?! My pup is used to riding in the SUV in a crate...she's just outgrown it and I'm not willing to have her loose while I'm driving. If you have a large dog that is insistent on getting past this barrier, I'm sure it could do some damage (to the barrier and/or the vehicle). I would not recommend this for a nervous riding dog that might harm it or themselves. I don't feel like these two barriers impede my vision at all when looking through the backseat or rear windows.

Perfect for keeping pet hair isolated to the corners of this molded tray and not flying around my car while I drive with the windows down on a sunny day. After 8 months of use, my 90lb shepard hasn't scratched or bit the molding - making it a durable solution for any pet owner. Also, said shepard likes to swim and this tray keeps the upholstry in the car dry while he hangs on on his tray. The fit is perfect for my 2024 RAV4 - taking into account several leash latches anchored in the rear. This is the low cost solution you've been seeking for your hair beast (or anything wet you want to keep off your upholstry!)

I got this barrier for my small SUV. Due to the adjustable design, it fit well in the space. This barrier was useful while I needed it for helping to train my dogs to stay in a specific part of my vehicle. It was a little bit of a pain to install, and it was a bit noisy and unstable if the bungee cords weren't installed. It's a little heavy, although it also seems durable. It would be better for me if I didn't need to install and uninstall so often.
