Perfect lighting for our fence. It’s just bright enough to provide visibility but isn’t obnoxious to the neighbors and doesn’t shine into the bedroom. Creates a nice dim lighting, we spaced ours on every other post in some areas of the fence and it’s just right.

Took 15 minutes to install 16 lights, they charge really nice even in the shade. They give out a nice natural soft light.

They went bare minimum and super cheap on the battery of 500mAh for AA batteries. That's gotta be replaced with 1500+mAh ones. Shame on them. As of now it's winter where I'm at so it doesn't charge up that much I believe or is it the lack of capacity that only last 3 hrs after dusk

They are much smaller than I thought they would be (That's NOT what she said). Also, they are plastic through-and-through. The "glass" is clear plastic. They are fairly bright, but don't get too excited, they aren't going to illuminate your deck well enough for a party. I installed mine on my privacy fence for a little ambience, but because the sun is low in the sky right now, the fence blocks a lot of the solar energy from reaching the little photovoltaic panel on top, so they don't get charged enough in that location. That will change when summer comes back, though. You get what you pay for. I will probably swap them out for hard-wired, up-firing landscape lights in the future because I plan to put in a pool and some ornamental landscaping in front of the fence. ... show more
