  • Great
I can play my steam deck on my tv which is amazing. Definitely worth the price.

  • Very cheap, good enough if you want to your steam deck to make use of your desktop peripherals.
Starting off, the dock is significantly smaller than the cover image shows. Being small however doesn't come as a big detriment as you can still use the dock with a cover on your steam deck. The problem is that the dock is extremely light and can be shifted around very easily due to that. You can use this without a display to act kind of like a stand with access to a keyboard and mouse, but the angle isn't great for this. It's alright, nothing special. Just a usb-c dock that happens to be fit for the steam deck. If nothing else this is a good way to add functionality to your steam deck for pretty cheap if you don't have a usb-c hub or adapter beyond a charger. ... show more

  • The Dock to go for
We got this because the price was right, and we needed a stand for our new Ally. It has the same features as the ROG wall charger and has the convenience of being able to place the Ally in a semi vertical position as every stand should. The fast charge DOES work on this unit and the 45 degree charge connector is great, if only about 2 inches longer it would be perfect. We will be putting this stand to good use at home, but will not be using it to travel anywhere due to the size. It's not too packable unless you are going to use a larger bag to take a portable game/computer system with you, and it won't fit in the carrying case like the ROG wall charger will. Great for home use, not for travel. We haven't tried the 4K pass through yet to a tv with the HDMI but one day we might (kind of defeats the purpose of a portable game system), if there is issues with that I will update my review. Over all great product and would buy again if we get another Ally. ... show more

  • The last STAND if you want your Device to hit the DECK even if you never touched the VALVE...
This Device is the PERFECT QUIET Storm if you want to blindly plan to have your device expire before its time and or if you like throwing away both money on subpar equipment and your initial investment. First you must use your own adapter which is expected and recommend (the use of OEM products) but once plugged in an and then its channeled thru the device to start charging The Valve Steam deck gives you a warning about the product plugged in. It clearly states on the steam deck that now you can no longer support fast charging....That was the first red flag but I continued ...so you dont have too. I then plugged in the ethernet cable using a CAT8 cable. Initially you get a response from devices showing the AMBER and Green lights flashing...But as for this device Im more than positive that those are just for looks see as they NEVER illuminated... Granted my A95K 65" Sony display did when I plugged in the HDMI cable... but after about an hour something said to check the stand. I did and it was Warm as expected.. but the unique Scent of burning electronics started to permeate from the inner device. I immediately unplugged everything to save my DECKS life. the Design (Visually was Perfect but the execution was poor. Dont NOT risk your device with this product.... Spend the money and get the OEM product because you already spent it buying the initial Valve Steam device. ... show more

  • Overpriced for materials
It's an entirely plastic unit and there's no USB C passthrough. Not what I was expecting for 50$.

  • Seems like a dock for ants!! But it is functional, mostly!
This came in the mail, and i was SHOCKED at its size, its super tiny, almost to the point i didn't think the right item showed up. i would have actually preferred it be bigger to be honest, this thing doesn't scream durable or supportive. is cheap, hollowed plastic, and has almost no weight to it. packs 3 USB ports on the back, but only 2 work for me at a time. not sure why, but I'm guessing there a power limitation? i had the official deck power brick powering it! also the ethernet ports link lights are there, but do not illuminate at all. so you have to guess if its pushing a signal. (is mine a dud? i dunno!) the entire thing works as its advertised, but the quality for the price is not there at all. there are also other docks that do way more for just a bit more money. (wont go into that rabbit hole though) for smiles and giggles I also tested this on my phone, and it works fine as a USB C multi port hub, but i wont use this with my Deck, it just offers too little support and the features aren't quite there. ... show more

  • Small, functional Steam deck
So this is a decent, functional docking station. It does what it says it does. The unit is very small and very lightweight - that is fine but not necessarily perfect as it doesn't help the Deck stay in place. Just position it carefully and you'll be fine. The unit does not come with a power supply; you'll need to supply one. also, it seems the USB-C connector just provides power, not data. Video seems to be fine using it, it does not degrade or exhibit any noise. ... show more

  • Great dock for handheld pc
I was looking for a dock that could hold my rather beefy Aokzoe A1 pro. This one fits the bill well, multiple ports, hdmi works flawlessly everytime. I highly recommend this for anyone using a handheld pc with a port at the top. Steamdeck, ally, aokzoe, gpd, etc.
