The coat had the look he needed for a more professional finish to his holiday outfit. Thanks so much for a product which personified the item description and was sent in a timely manner. I purchased this coat to have a business casual option for the colder months. Ideally I would have liked something with more wool, but that is hard to come by these days especially in the sub $100 market. But, this coat fits the bill, has some nice styling, and the insulation appears to be warm. The sizing with this coat model is a little bit tricky though. It is not slim fit by any means and runs a little large. If you are looking for something tailored/slim, try to size down. I purchased an XS and it fits closer to most S. The scarf is nothing special, just 100% acrylic accent piece with a small loop on the back that secures to a small button behind the collar. It is easy to add or subtract depending on your personal preference and the button is hidden under the collar. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 are mild annoyances. The zip is a pain to get started and is sticky (might just be this particular jacket, but still) and the buttons are off center because the main method of securing it over the chest is centered around the zipper. Not a deal breaker, but if you care about the symmetry of your outfit, it will drive you crazy. One last annoyance, which almost triggered a return, was how the coat fit out of the box. It was lumpy in the shoulders and tight. Then I noticed the insulation seemed to be distributed weirdly, and since the coat is washable, I decided to give that a try (yes to many the fact that this is washable will be a plus). Make sure to follow the instructions on the tag and use the gentle cycle with a low heat dry (the only difference I did was the last 10 minutes turned it up to normal heat to "fluff" it a bit). After two washes the insulation was distributed evenly and the coat fit completely well. Moral of the story - IF IT FITS WEIRD OUT OF THE BOX, TRY TO WASH/DRY IT. All in all, for the price, I would recommend this coat for anyone looking for an acceptable business casual option to use during the colder winter months. I don't think this will become a heritage piece in my wardrobe and won't be surprised if it doesn't make it beyond year two or three, but what else can you ask for these days. ... show more

*Excellent* fabric and *excellent* construction. **Warm.** But the fit is odd. Fits well in shoulders, and the sleeve length is perfect. Then balloons out. Bottom of coat has too much fabric - looks odd. Will have to be tailored. Different from photos

Nice coat. Ok for Nj winters. Runs a touch large. Wish I would have bought L instead of XL. It has an interior pocket but the zipper on that pocket goes north/south instead of the usual east/west.
