I ordered this top coat when I realized my older children had run off with most of my jackets and coats right before winter truly set in this year. This coat was a clear upgrade over my (admittedly older) winter outdoor wear. The coat fit as I expected with the sleeve length being spot-on, so no need for tailoring! The coat performs its job well, having kept me very warm during these cold spells, though I need to give the disclaimer that I am a southern boy, so my cold is not northern cold! The internal bib makes a significant difference and is truly appreciated, though when the coat is unbuttoned, the bib can get itself folded into some unusual looking shapes. This coat is warm and comfortable. Sizing is generous. Even with a sweater vest and jacket on under it, the coat is slightly loose. I would consider buying the next size down, certainly were I not to wear a jacket or sweater. My only slight issue is that none of the pockets are deep enough by an inch or two. ... show more

Very nice coat, just as advertised. I like the under part that zips. Very comfortable. It’s cut a little big, I bought the XXL as suggested and I could have gotten away with the XL. It’s not a big deal for me because I wear thicker sweaters and layers under it, but if you don’t you may want the size below. This peacoat is nice for a brisk winter day. This jacket seems to be a bit warmer than others I have bought. It does have a built in liner that zips up to keep you a bit warmer it is not heavy in weight. Love the fact that it is warm enough for a 40 degree day or even colder.
