Features

  • Push + Pull Design: M-Shaped hook features both pull and retrieval points, easily facilitating hanging, pushing, and retrieval of objects in high-up, hard-to-reach places and underwater
  • High-Quality Hook: Unlike competitor hooks made of cheap plastic, the DocaPole Hook Attachment is constructed from a fire-proof, non-rusting zinc alloy, for a sturdier attachment
  • Secure Locking Technlogy: The locking screw ensures the pole does not spin loose during use, even against the heaviest Christmas lights or weighted wakes of a fishing boat
  • Hang Anything: Grab, position, and support hard-to-handle objects; pull branches from trees; retrieve balls, frisbees, drones and other objects from roofs, mount lights in hard-to-reach spots
  • Multi-Use Telescoping Pole: The DocaPoles universal threaded tip makes it compatible with a wide variety of attachments to accomplish all your hard-to-reach tasks

After failing to find help cleaning the gutters on my new house that are too high to reach with the ladder I have, I got this pole with a hook. This was by far, the superior choice over dying from falling off the roof or ladder, paying more than twice as much as the pole for a one-time cleaning service, or just letting the gutters spill over. This fall, I have cleaned out the full gutters three times, and each time was glad I did because it rained shortly after and drainage was good each time. I used the pole to extend a bucket of water up to the gutter to test my work, too. I have also used the pole + hook (plus a creatively fashioned duct tape loop on the cap) to replace a missing end-cap on the 2nd storey gutter. Yes, the pole did initially have issues of spinning at the extensions, however tightening the screws on the extension locks worked well to stop that. Extending from the bottom before the top helps to keep the pole stable, as well. It was long enough for the whole operation only needing the bottom two extensions, it could've gotten much longer than I needed for two storeys. At one point, I used the pole to give the gutter end-cap a couple of good "whacks" -20 ft in the air- to tamp it down on the glue, and the cap bent a little but the pole was rugged as ever. I'm happy; it looks secure, my pole was none the worse for wear, and I stayed on the ground for the whole thing. And, it was lightweight enough, with nice cushioned grips, that this out of shape 40 something arthritic woman was the one to do all of the above. I was surprised that the pole came with an unexpected, free duster attachment, thanks! I'm also looking forward to getting the bulb-replace attachment for a 2nd storey flood light, as well, and to seeing all the potentials with my pole - maybe I'll fish for garbage down the ravine off my property... ... show more

  • Good extension pole for your money, good customer service
Material Type: Metal Size: 24 Ft
I have used this pole a handful of times. It is kind of wobbly at or near full extension, but does the trick for most quick tasks. The top part where the attachments screw into became loose pretty quickly, but customer service was quick to send a new one. There are various attachments that I look forward to trying once I attach the new top. ... show more

  • Great Reach but gets flimsy when fully extended
Material Type: Metal Size: 24 Ft
This pole is very solid and works great for medium reach. I used the pole to hang Christmas lights. I have have a two story house with a steep peak. The great part was the pole is long enough to reach the peak the down side is it flexed a lot when fully extended. It takes a lot of effort to get light on a hook when you have around 5 inches of sway and flex in the pole when fully extended. I ended up shorting the pole about 6 feet from max extension and going half way up a ladder. ... show more

  • The DocPole was the perfect tool!
Material Type: Metal Size: 24 Ft
My sailboat's main sheet got fouled in the shrouds on a windy day. I needed a tool that could reach up over 20 feet to help untangle this line. The DocaPole with the addition of a well designed hook on the end did the trick. The pole is exactly as described, is well built and functioned perfectly. I particularly liked the lever locks to make the extensions; this is a much better and secure way to slide and lock the pole's extensions in place. Sturdy...a great product. r/A. N. ... show more

  • Sturdy and easy to use for manipulating bird feeders
Material Type: Metal Size: 24 Ft
I have used this for only one task, that of taking down and putting up bird feeders on a high tree in my backyard. Before buying this product I used jerry-built poles with nails to try to lift and fit the thin handles of the feeders on small hooks high in trees. This product works really well. It is substantial (may seem a little heavy for some but its weight helps to hold and balance the heavy feeders) and somehow still allows the dexterity and precision to manipulate the feeders to secure them to the small hooks and it works really well. So if you are looking for a pole for this purpose it seems great to me. I haven't used them for anything else yet but will surely find other uses as well. ... show more

  • Flimsy and doesn't stay locked in extended positions
Material Type: Metal Size: 24 Ft
After researching the Docapole and Eversprout extenstion poles I could not decide which one to purchase, so I bought both, including the hooks associated with each. I figured one would be better than the other but simply could not ascertain online. My son and I used them to hang Christmas lights in tall trees in our yard. There is simply NO COMPARISON between these two products. When fully extended the Docapole is a lightweight cheap stick incapable of even holding up a string of Christmas lights. It would not stay extended even though it was "locked" - the "locks" are useless. It then bent within 3-5 times stringing lights (in about 15' of use). It then would not telescope back down all the way. I returned it, but had to take it to a packaging center since it would not telescope back in. A complete waste. Conversely, the Eversprout extension pole telescoped out and in easily, stays locked in position and is sturdy when fully extended. Furthermore, it's about $10 cheaper. Don't waste your time with Docapole. On a final note, I found the hooks for each to be very similar, but I used the Eversprout for hours (since the pole was much sturdier) whereas I only used the docapole hook for about 15' ... show more

  • Long poles are safer than ladders
Material Type: Metal Size: 24 Ft
The pole was easy to telegraph to different lengths. This was important as I was knocking mistletoe from high in the Mesquite trees. Until the last length it was pretty solid. The the last run out things stayed together but was wobbly. I am happy with the pole. It has made a dangerous job not so dangerous. I will look for a saw to fit on the end now.. ... show more

  • Not worth the price premium
Material Type: Metal Size: 24 Ft
The DocaPole 6-24 "Looks" premium and well built, but mine was defective - the bottom section did not lock properly and every section was difficult to extend and collapse. I did not see any shipping damage so that is definitely not the reason. Either their quality has gone down or the reviews are suspect. I replaced this with 7-24 ft Long Telescopic Extension Pole from EXTEND-A-REACH Store on Amazon and that is FAR better quality! I initially preferred the DocaPole as the manufacturer has so many attachment options which seem better, but it looks like they will work on the extend-a-reach as well. ... show more
