Not so sturdy but as long as your children are not climbing it like it’s a jungle gym you should be fine. My kids love it. A bit of a hassle to build but worth it.

I assembled this myself except for the step of attaching the slats to the sides of the frames. Two people are definitely needed for that to keep slats aligned and guide them into holes as the the outside of frame is attached. Two people are also needed for holding base or head of each bed frame as the opposite side is attached to the vertical poles. Total assembly time was about 3-4 hours and I did not move particularly quickly. The frame seems very sturdy and I noticed no squeaking when I wiggled it once it was completed and in position. No one has slept on it yet so time will tell how it holds up under actual use. Although I have 6" twin mattresses on all three beds, the lower could accommodate a taller mattress. 6" is the right thickness for middle and upper bunk so the guardrails are effective. ... show more

I got this for my one and two year olds. Overall I am pleased with the bed. Instructions were clear, my 12 year old and I put it together, took maybe an hour and a half. This bed is not super sturdy. It’s fine for the littles but it will be out grown in 6 years. The slide is fast but in my household that is a plus. The toddlers love it and for the first time neither of them went to sleep in my bed! It is a bit loud but I don’t mind. You will need to by the slats that go under the bottom mattress but it is a pretty good bed. ... show more

This works perfect for my boys. You don’t need a mattress spring just a comfy queen mattress. It does have a trundle underneath that is twin sized. We have had it for six months and it’s still holding together good and no squeaking.

The assembly for this product was simple enough… I wouldn’t recommend purchasing it as a single female though because it turned into a two person job very quickly… I ended up having to call one of my friends to help me force one of the support parts to align with the bed post because the holes didn’t line up at all… I can’t return it now on account of having to use an impact gun to force some of the bolts into the holes that weren’t lined up… It’ll have to be cut apart to remove from the room I am renting… In my personal opinion purchasing this item is a waste of time and money. Absolutely love this. It’s bigger than I expected. No missing parts. Strong sturdy. Good stable stability. A little difficult to put together, instructions would be a little better. But as a single mama, I got this together on my own in about 2 hours. No problems with alignment. I do with the bar on where they step into their bed was higher, we have all hit our heads a few times haha! I hung fairy lights around the top bar for some added fun! We love it. ... show more

It save you money and i can tell it s not a product recommended for small kids (Under 6 YO), it took a while to assemble, and still look unstable. Cold and metal materials. Loved the Amazon pictures of the product. It will be perfect if you have a guest room.

We really like this bed! Our kid is absolutely obsessed with it. It’s pretty much easy to put together besides base for mattress (took me a second to figure out how to keep all parts together and screw bolts at the same time). All parts came fine besides one long bar. It had dent but it’s hard to see after we put everything together. And it’s really doesn’t effect anything. Slide has pretty weird angle. When my daughter tried it for the first time I honestly thought she is going to hurt herself bc how fast she went down. But it was an easy fix. My husband just put piece of 2x4 under and it’s fixed the issue. Overall we’re all happy with this bed and our child just obsessed with it. It’s not only keeps her busy going up and down all the time but also helped to create fun and comfy space for kid. ... show more
