Clamps are too large for 2003 Tacoma bedrails. Closing lock will not latch closed. OTOH, the provided extra weatherstrip is not needed for 2003 Tacoma bed so I cut pieces to use as "spacers" for the clamps. 4 pieces of circular weatherstrip (8 layers thick) makes excellent spacer and clamps locked tightly to bedrails. Haven't figured out how to latch the top closed, but that shouldn't be too big of an issue to bypass in the morning. ... show more

Unless you have some system track this will not work and you have to buy the correct g-clamps, about $30 on Amazon. I tried calling customer service a few times to get the correct clamps and they did not help at all, said they are just drop shipping these and have no idea what is really being shipped and have no parts. They literally told me just order some clamps on Amazon…When I talked to customer service in 4/2024 it sounds like they have not corrected the issue either and that they really don’t care as long as they keep selling. I would look else where for this cover and generally beware of this company. The f-clamps look ok, like they would work but they basically fall off and are super unstable, I was hoping they would work. Good luck and look else where! ... show more

This bedcover fits perfect on my bed. I have a 98 Tacoma base model with 6ft bed and it's a great fit. If you don't have a spray in bed liner or no bediner then no your good to go. I have a plastic liner so I had to cut on holes for the mounting hardware but no big deal.

Love it! It’s pretty easy to install. I had a stock bed liner from Toyota in my Tacoma (01). I had to cut 6 holes with my Dremel so that I could mount the rack mounts to the frame of the bed. After that you just piece the frame together (3) sides with the tailgate open for end of the rolling cover to clip in. Probably took 45 mins because I was trying not a mess cutting rectangular holes for the brackets. Then just roll it out and adjust the snap in ends so it fits snug but not too tight. Then just enjoy the security and better gas mileage provided by the durable cover! ... show more

This cover worked fine with my 1997 TOYOTA TACOMA 6'ft bed. Although not designed with a bed liner, it can be ADAPTED with 6 cutouts for the anchors. I used a BOSCH Oscillating tool to make the cuts, and made the cuts without removing the liner. Once anchored down properly, it felt solid that I don't have to worry about it flying away while driving. As other reviewers noted, it is a bear to close - even during the hot summer days in Aug 2022. The workmanship is very good and the material seems to be of good quality as well.
