    • radiator poked through the box, but somehow nothing broken
Minus 1 star for the horrible packaging. They've really got to put some more cardboard/styro/etc around the corners where the inlets/outlets are if they don't want so many complaints/returns for shipping damages Mine was delivered by USPS, and my ring doorbell showed the mailman putting it down gently on my porch. when I got the box inside, there were holes where the connections poked through the box. Somehow all tabs/inlets/outlets were intact. I installed it in my 2010 qx56 a couple of weeks ago to replace the orig/OEM one after it got a pinhole leak around 172k mi, and no leaks from it so far. I replaced my thermostat at the same time, and temps go up and down between 186 and 203F (odb2 reader/mapper). Previously I'd only range from 190-195F. Hard to say if it's the radiator, or the new thermostat though. My trans temp is now running high though (up to 212F, used to be solid 170F no matter what i was doing) which is slightly concerning. I'm not sure if the "trans warmer" at the bottom of this radiator is doing too good of a job compared to OEM and adding too much heat or what. I plan on bypassing that warmer soon anyway, as it's too common for these "combo" radiators (even OEM) for leaking coolant into the trans warmer, creating a milkshake of death in your trans. ... show more

    • Shipping needs better handling!!
The Bottom tabs were broken where the ac condenser was supposed to mount on radiator was most likely during shipping because the tabs were in the box but noticed when it was almost finished an had to use zip ties to keep it propped up instead because I couldn’t wait any longer if the old one was out already other than that very happy with it ... show more
