Excellent functionality! This is the 3rd controller I have purchased and I am happy with this one! Learning DMX is already difficult when you’re used to just using remotes and apps. So what makes this better than another is ease of use and CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS. There is also a YT video that is very helpful you can find by searching the name of the product. The instructions are small (I had to get my reading glasses), but they are pretty straightforward and easy to understand. Many manufacturers assume if you are purchasing these controllers that you already know how to use them. This manual is written as if you don’t know anything about DMX lighting. So I appreciate that! It doesn’t make any noise, very quiet operation and it’s just big enough to be compact but it feels like a professional tool. The USB light that’s included will come in handy on performance nights as I am working with a small group of kids on a musical production. The sliders and buttons are high quality components. That and the ease of use and make the controller an excellent choice for beginners. For $119 it’s a great option. I didn’t want cheap, but I didn’t want to spend $3k either. So I’m very satisfied!

I looked at a lot of the cheaper “toys” and I was skeptical about quality based on some reviews. Didn’t have a huge budget but wanted to make sure I got something that would last and do everything I want it to. This is at the sweet spot where things cross over from expensive toy to professional controller. In other words, you get professional grade quality at as affordable of a price you can get. I had never programmed DMX before buying this controller and I was able to follow the instructions along with some YouTube instruction and figure it out. Within about 2 hours of playing with it, I was able to program several scenes and a chase. Really looking forward to taking this to my next DJ gig!

Bought this as a gift for my brother and his band. He told me that this single unit controls all their lights, effects and other things. He was able to get it working in minutes and never once looked at any instructions. Its not my area of expertise but for a small investment, this thing seems to have a lot of power. Its really cool that they were able to simply connect the existing cables and controls right into this unit without needing any adapters or special items. Happy I got this for him and I expect he will gte many years of use.

I bought this for our back yard party's. Great music needs a great light show. Perfect for my grandkids birthday party's and any other party events. The controller is small enough to make it portable but is packed with features to entertain any party you can throw at it. Party on dude!

This worked for about 2 weeks, then the buttons started getting stuck and then fixtures started glitching badly. I plugged in a different controller and the fixtures worked fine. I don't recommend this product.

Easy to program up to 24 light fixtures on 16 channels. There are 30 banks. Each bank has 8 scenes & 6 chases that can sequence up to 240 scenes. No computer or software required. Once you have taken the time to program each light fixture, set up 8 basic scenes. Next compose up to 240 scenes in any order and save as a chase. Now you can easily trigger various chases manually or use the built in mic to sync to your music. You can assign midi notes to control scenes, chases or blackout. Connect to a midi device such as a midi keyboard to execute commands. The 18 page manual gives you step by step instructions. This unit only uses 3 pin dmx input and output. It comes pre-programmed for fixture addressing for 23 fixtures with 16 channels each beginning with starting address of “1” then 16 channel intervals for each additional fixture. This controller design has been around since 2009 and has proven its reliability and ruggedness at a very reasonable price.
