  • Great Console for DJs
I've been using the Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV1 2-deck Serato DJ Controller since around 2022, and it’s been solid from the start. Great for parties and all kinds of events. I really like the old school look and feel, it gives that classic DJ vibe with modern functionality. It worked so well for me that when my son started DJing while I was away, I ended up buying a second one. So now we own two! Overall, the DDJ-REV1 is a great controller. Its reliable, fun to use, and perfect for both beginners and experienced DJs. Definitely worth it. ... show more

  • Alot of bang for your buck!
As a vinyl turntablist, I bought this controller as a backup unit to practice ane play around with in case my main control vinyl setup were to go down before or during a gig. I must say all the features in this mixer are amazing, easy to use, fun, and are plug and play. This thing plugs right in and works flawlessly with serato. For the price point and what you get this controller is awesome. As a vinyl scratch and performance House music DJ I love it, except for the fact its not a turntable and its small jogs make scratching and backspinning very difficult compared to what I'm used to. Even compared to CDJs which I also own. Not to say you can't scratch or perform tricks because you totally can, but just for my own personal preference I prefer bigger platters or jogs with adjustable tension so I'm only giving 4 out of 5stars for that reason along with inability to run analog thru the mixer portion of it. Otherwise, this is one helluva value packed piece of equipment! So if your looking for an entry level controller, I highly recommend this one. It compares to more expensive models, its battle style, it gives you everything you need to learn all the basics and gives you nothing you dont or won't need. Cheers! • Jog Wheels Stop Responding. YOU BEEN WARNED!
The media could not be loaded. Used for 2 almost 3 months before the jogs started having touch capa. issues. Loved the units layout as if feels like my turntable setup but... Went back to using my ddj 400 and its been solid. Maybe mine was a bad unit but have lots of pioneer gear and if its bad its bad out the box never over time. Anyway buy if you want and when goes bad come back and curse out my review like damn I should listened to that 20yr+ working dj review. oh and on that note my ddj sr2 same issue but about 3yrs later but by that time it had paid for itself times over so gave it away as home only practice unit but they too fustrated with glitches. ... show more
