I am a side sleeper and often wake up in so much pain that I need to lay on my back for 30+ minutes before I can get out of bed. However, this weird shaped pillow has been a game changer. I have tried numerous pillows and yet this candy cane shaped pillow has been my savior. So much so, that while on vacation I purchased a second one and had it delivered to my air bnb. Now I have a travel pillow! I will say that the middle opening is where I assume my ear should fall...it does not. If it did this pillow might be perfect. Great concept poorly executed with cheap materials. It’s hotel sheet scratchy, the ear hole absolutely doesn’t line up and it’s snug. As a normal sized person, turning over at night felt difficult. It doesn’t feel very supportive and you can tell the poly fill is just waiting to become lumpy in time. An absolute no go for me. Find something better. This is a waste of money. I love this pillow!! Best dang pillow I have tried, the only complaint I have is I wish it was firmer. I had to add more filler myself and now it's perfect! The U shape is perfect for my side sleeping position, really wish I had found this pillow sooner.

I have 2 of these pillows. The 1st I bought in 2020 (after neck surgery). I love this pillow! The size is just right and once or twice a year I wash the pillow itself and it comes out like new. I would give that pillow 5 stars. The second pillow was purchased in 2025 and it's HUGE. The new pillow (not pillowcase) is covered in thin cheesy satin/polyester. The old pillow is covered with what seems to be cotton, very durable. But the first time i put the new pillow in the washing machine a seam frayed apart and most of the filling came out. New pillow only gets 1 star. So I averaged the 1 and 5 stars for a 3. They changed a perfect pillow into a giant piece of crap! ... show more

I bought this to support my right shoulder and arm. I broke my shoulder in January and haven't been able to sleep flat on a regular mattress. Saw a larger version of this and thought that it might work but I didn't want another 'body' in my bed. Saw this one and thought it might be just what I needed. And I was right! I use it when I sleep on my left side so my right shoulder doesn't drop behind me, and I use it when I sleep on my back so my right arm and shoulder are supported. It is everything I needed and helps me sleep so soundly. The support is perfect. It's not firm like a foam mattress; it definitely has some give to it but retains its shape. I haven't had to worry about washing it yet, but I have spot cleaned it (we have a Great Dane in the household who likes to drool) and it cleans up very well. The material is soft enough for me, but I can see where someone may find it a bit scratchy. I was concerned I'd get too hot with using it all around me (I'm in menopause) but that's also not a problem at all. I put that on the material and also the little indent for the ear. Between those two I seem to have good air flow. If you're looking for something that gives you a bit of support for your upper body (not for a stomach as in a pregnant woman) this may be exactly what you're looking for. I received it extremely quickly, and it came totally rolled up and shrink-wrapped. Unwrapped it, and it bounced into shape right off without any chemical smell. I had this pillow all boxed up and ready to return, but decided not to return it. I've had nearly 5 of these pillows, I think I actually sent one or two back in the last 2 years. I thought maybe they changed what they changed about them. I've figured it out. They are using way less pillow batting, so the pillow is much softer with no firmness at all. If you want your head and neck to balance out you need a little firmness to hold your head up; not just sink to the mattress with your head on the pillow. Back to the not returning, I sew, so I'm going buy a bag of batting at Walmart and finish the job they didn't do. All this down grading in the world has ruined some of the products. ... show more
