I have been on such a long journey to get neck relief from herniated disc in my neck which causes debilitating pain w/headaches. I caved in and gave this pillow a chance. When I first opened the package and checked out the pillow, right away I thought that it was not going to be firm enough. I was so wrong! I have slept 2 nights without one bit of pain! This is unheard of in my life, for over 30 years. Sleeping was always something to dread. It has not cured me ofcourse but getting sleep is so important! I am going to see if they have extra pillow cases. I am shocked that I found something that helped right away. I pray it stays a good pillow for quite a long time. I am going to probably buy a few more. I like how it has a spot to put your ear for added comfort! I do use a knee pillow as well for the best alignment while I sleep. Not too expensive to give it a try! Definitely 5 stars! Update May 19 2019 I was so hopefull that I found relief. Not even a month later and it is losing it's firmness. I have woke up with a headache for the last 3 days. I am going to give it another week if it turns out to be the pillow then sadly I will be returning it... ... show more

As time goes on, I am finding more uses, and ways to use this pillow! lol..lol...it's softer than I thought due to so e reviews. I do wish it would come with or have an option to buy 1,2, or 3 pillow covers with it. It does have a zipper that you can take off all the way to wash it. Sometimes, when I am going to lay my face on it, I lay my flannel pillowcase on it, if I'm going to be sleeping in it for awhile or all night. Soooo comfortable!!! I also lie down in the middle of it with the longer side against my back, and a heating pad against the side where my back is. I am lying on my side in this position. Head is on the flannel pillowcase, on the shorter side. I also, scrunch it up, to maje it taller, when I'm watching TV on my bed or the sofa. You can squish it how ever you want! It is squishable!!! I wish I could say I was happy with this product but I’m not. It’s not fluffy or any bit of firm so it gives me a headache because it doesn’t offer any support. The ear hole is more like a cup holder and it’s not in a good place so my ear doesn’t even go in it no matter how I move this around to try to get it to. & that was one of the reasons I thought this because I have several ear piercings and they thrust into the side of my head when I sleep causing me to have headaches when I wake up so I was hoping that by placing my ear inside of hear accompanied by the support, that I would have a better nights rest but that hasn’t been the case. Sucks cause I was really looking forward to this and super disappointed ... show more

Absolutely love this pillow. I have never slept so well. I love how if feels like I'm being held. However, 2 small things keep this from being a 5 star review. Firstly, the pillowcase is so stiff and difficult to sleep on. Additional pillowcases should be made available for people who have sensory issues or prefer softer surfaces for sleeping. Secondly the height of this advertised as 6 inches is really more like 3& 1/2-4 inches, at best. The fill is quite easy to compress and does not hold shape as well as I expected. I put my normal memory foam pillow under the head part to get the right amount of support. Still think it's a fantastic pillow even with these flaws. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This pillow was a Godsend when I bought it in 2021. It’s worn down over the years, so I repurchased the same exact DMI pillow. Washed it as I always have, per instructions on the label. Gentle cycle, cold water. I take it out to air dry, and it’s already falling apart at the seams!! The pillow itself is just fine, it perked right up into its proper shape. But it’s nothing without the case holding it together. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like the quality of products I’ve been buying lately-especially on Amazon, are just what it once was. ... show more

Edit: seams fell apart soon after. I filled the case with my own fill, bought a custom cover off Etsy and made myself a Franken-Pillow, which works well. A great idea, but the workmanship here is subpar. I’ve had this pillow for a week now. This is not a looker. It will never look nice on the bed. The cover is s bit scratchy (not the percale I’m used to), and I wish it came in other colors. I found the fill to be both lumpy and not quite enough. A zipper to make it adjustable would be a great upgrade. The ear hole looks silly, and doesn’t actually align with my ear. BUT. I have slept through the night, every night, without having to wake up in the middle of the night to adjust, move, flip, or swap the pillow out. And I wake without neck pain. The inner curve cradles my shoulder perfectly. The “ear hole” actually makes a nice divot for my head to rest, while my neck is supported. The long side provides great support for my back (and a hug), and the short side is perfect for my arms to wrap around. This is a keeper. ... show more
