I've only had these bulbs for about a week so I can't speak on longevity yet, but I have seen enough already to be impressed with these bulbs. First off, installation in my 2011 Dodge Durango Citadel wasn't the easiest I've ever done but it wasn't terrible. You might be able to reach inside the access port in the fender liner without removing the wheel but I suggest removing the wheel anyway. You'll be glad you did! User clean gloves (white cotton, latex, nitrile, etc) when installing the bulbs and be VERY careful not to touch the glass at all (oils in your fingerprints cause weak spots in the bulb that can shatter when they get hot) Once the bulbs were installed there was a slight delay the first time I turned them on where the bulbs had a dim blue glow but after a few seconds to warm up they came on. The brightness and color of the light started out very similar to the factory bulbs then became slightly whiter and visibly brighter after about 30 seconds. This isn't unusual with this style of bulb, unlike standard halogen bulbs, the Xenon projector bulbs often have a break-in period. I left them on for about 10 seconds then turned them off and allowed them time to cool completely. After that I turned them back on and this time they came on immediately and again increased in brightness slightly after about 30 seconds. I cycled them again and the third time they came on immediately and were at full intensity by 10-15 seconds. From then on they have come on and been at full intensity in 3-5 seconds. As I mentioned earlier, these bulbs started out with approximately the same color and intensity as the factory bulbs but became slightly brighter and whiter as they warmed up. This continued while I was breaking them in and now they appear much brighter than the factory bulbs and exactly the color temp I was hoping for. They are listed as 4300k but I would guess them to be between 4700 and 5000k. No blue tint at all and not a harsh white, just a very nice white on the lower end of the temp scale. Needless to say I couldn't be happier! Now for the best part...the value! The factory replacement bulbs are over $100 EACH at Autozone and these bulbs are 1/3 of that price for a pair. I always replace the bulbs as a pair (guess I'm OCD but the slight variance in light between a new and old bulb would drive me crazy lol!) so figure $200+ vs $34 and it's a no-brainer. You could replace these bulbs each year for 6 years (not that I expect to need to!) and still have saved money.

My Review is like the others. I haven't needed to change my head light in my car since I got it. When one went out and the other was dim I simply figured I'd pull them out, run to Autozone and get new ones....... I have never had a car with these type of bulbs before. Autozone wanted $104.00 a bulb and I quickly walked out the door. For a pack of two these were $160.00 less?? Seemed odd to me but I ordered them any way. Delivered the next day, they fit no problem and seem much brighter then the ones that were in it. I don't know the long term but even of they last 2 years I still can buy almost 3 more boxes of 2 for what Autozone wanted for 1 bulb. If the back of your bulb says D1S these will fit. (atleast they did in mine) and will save you a ton of $$$.

Works perfect. I searched for type of headlamp elsewhere and it said it was a fit for my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2012 Overland V8. This price was best so I bought here. Now I see it says that they are not a fit for my vehicle. But they are. Headlamp works great. See attached picture for old one and new one. Both 3 pin and pins line up. Easy snap in. I bought the 2 pack as great price and would have a spare in case I broke it on installing as hoses in way etc. A bit of blind installing. I watched a bunch of videos and actually was able to install from below, despite videos saying best from above. Either way. Good purchase.

I bought a set of these DMEX HID 6000K for my Volvo xc70 t6 exactly one year ago, Feb 2024, to replace my low beam OE factory Phillips HID 4300K that came with the car when I bought it used in 2016. The Phillips were nearly new at that time, installed by the original owner and so documented. As of Feb. ’25,the DMEX pair are still working satisfactorily with no deal breaker issues. They are a perfect fit, easy to install in my model, do not flicker, and ramp up to full brightness in seconds. I recently lost a high beam, and am going to replace with a pair of this DMEX product without reservation. The 6000K DMEX out of the box brightness and distance was not all that much better (not quite the flame throwers I had hoped) than the OEM 4300K Phillips, and have dimmed somewhat by a visually estimated 20% or so, but still sufficiently and safely light the road ahead: Realistically, It’s about what I expected at this price point ($32) so I’m not disappointed. Others might be. Considering the price, dimming is not surprising. All HID bulbs dim over time, regardless of price. Higher quality brands at higher price points tend to take longer to dim, IME, and last considerably longer: I don’t expect these to last nearly as long, and for the price/performance that’s ok by me. The overall value of more expensive brands vs DMEX, et. al., is questionable, IMO. My OE Phillips also dimmed, but took a couple of years longer to do so, and steadily degraded until failure. They lasted nearly 7 years, but were not efficacious the last year or two of their life due to how dim they were when they died. At 4300K they did perform slightly better in rain/fog, due to the more yellow end of their scale (DMEX and others do offer 4300K). In spite of reviews expressing doubts about DMEX and other low cost HID brands durability and longevity, my set is holding up a year out (one even got wacked in a fender bender and still works). If they failed tomorrow I would still be satisfied with the longevity for the price. At $32 anymore is a bonus, until the dimming becomes untenable. A set of Phil’s or Osram’s can cost anywhere from $100 to $200, but I’ve noticed that some vendors have lowered the price significantly since last year – no doubt due to price pressure from the new generation of competitive manufacturers (competition is a wonderful thing). Still, the DMEX pair are approx $75 - 150 less currently than the OE Phillips, and though even somewhat dimmed a year out, provide safe lighting and are a considerable value over the still ridiculously priced Phillips or other similar "high end" brands. I have not as yet found it necessary to contact or test either DMEX or AMZ’s customer service/support for this product, because, after a year, I’ve had no reason to do so, since they are still performing. Other reviews have expressed satisfaction with CS for this product. I paid $31.99 for them a year ago and are today listed at $33 (a pair!). I find them an excellent value for price and performance. I will update this review when details and performance warrant reporting.
