These headlights are quite good. I upgraded my 2015 Honda civic sedan from the base model of this brand to these and there is a noticeable difference. The color is whiter, and the viewing field and distance is improved. I was not blown away with the difference but it was still a good improvement for sure. They fit perfectly in my car. Here is a before and after. (I tried to find the flattest stretch of road to do it in)

I fretted over which bulbs to put into my 2005 Camry SE as I wanted bulbs that were bright white, provided a clean spread of light, and lasted reasonably long but did not break the bank coming in at about $30 dollars a pair. And after taking a chance on these Sylvanias, I was not dissapointed. More than once these bulbs helped light the way in pure darkness, in rain, snow, fog etc as I live in Iowa where we get all the 4 seasons. I also have enjoyed the looks of the bulbs from the outside providing a clean expensive look. So I replaced both my bulbs February 2nd, 2011 and just a couple days ago the left bulb went dead and therefore lasted an approximate time of 1year 10months with one bulb still chugging along. I felt this amount was more than reasonable considering I often accidentally forget to switch my headlights off more often than not so I figure I got nearly 2yrs on the bulbs despite frequent daytime use and that's pretty great. In addition, I do not feel the remaining bulb is burning very much dimmer than the replacement I've placed in which was another of these same bulbs. I am happy and satisfied with these bulbs. Pros: Clean white light Even field of illumination with great peripheral spread and illuminates further ahead of vehicle which is useful to avoid hitting deers! Midlevel price tag Maintains majority of brightness through life Lasts nearly 2years despite frequent daytime use Functions well in all weather conditions Does not glare into other drivers eyes Possible Cons: Not any noticable blue tint if you prefer that look which doesn't bother me. Not the cheapest set Hope this review was helpful!

Yes they cost a little. But they are not led. They work and are very bright. Always get them in a set and replace both at same time. You will notice a significant change over oem.

The low beam headlight bulb died on the passenger's side of the 2004 Toyota Camry. I looked for replacement bulbs on the internet and found that The 9006SU BP Silverstar Ultra was priced at about 49.00 dollars at one of the local automotive stores and was not carried by Walmartat at all(Walmart carries the lesser model to the one mentioned above and charges about 38 dollars and change plus tax.). Amazon wanted 39 dollars and change(for the Silverstar Ultra), shipped free. .. No Brainer. Effectively When you buy from Amazon, you get the top model set of low beam bulbs, pay 10 dollars less and you are ahead of the game for it. They are not bad in the performance department either. They were shipped from down south up to CT in about 5 working days at no cost to ship. I have to add that sylvania will honor this purchase for a 10 dollar rebate. See their website at [...]. I can not beat this deal, 30 dollars for a premium set of 50 dollar head light bulbs. Shop on line and save money while getting excellent quality products through websites like Amazon.com. Update 12/23/2011: The bulbs gave good light. They last 13 months and then just blow out. They are expensive to be sure. Replaced them with a lower cost GE bulb. I can live with these and feel that the Sylvania bulbs cost too much for the life they give. However, that being said, if you want a bright light and co$t is not a considerable factor, these(Silverstar Ultra), may be the bulb for you. Definitely less expensive to buy them from Amazon. Incidently, I bought the original Silverstar Ultra bulbs in 2009 (2 years ago), but have replaced them about a year ago with another set from Sylvania because they did not last a year. IF THEY GO ON SALE, THOUGH,I would buy them again for the quality of light they provide. 3/1/2012 Update. They did not go on sale, but i bought a used set from Amazon warehouse deals. The package had been opened, but the bulbs had no finger prints on them. Finger prints cause early failure, if you find any finger prints on the bulbs, wash them off with a soft cloth soaked with rubbing alcohol and dry them good. I bought the second set because my wife "thinks" she prefers them. Oh well, I guess I will not have to buy any head lamps for a while. Can not beat Amazon's price at any rate.

Super bright! The lifespan is less than I would hope for, but knowing my family can see better at night is worth it. On average I get about 9 months before one burns out. The only bulb I put in any of our vehicles are SilverStar Ultra!

I've put these bulbs on my 2000 Infiniti G20 and the difference is amazing. 30% Better and driving at night is so much better. I've purchase 4 bulbs and put them on my 2004 Toyota highlander on the low beam and fog light and its SO Worth the cost at $35.00 for a set from Amazon. (pricey if you decide to buy it from the auto store at $55.00) The level of white clear light is 30% brighter and its almost as clear and bright as the HID on my BMW Z4 (and that bulb cost $120 to replace if it goes out). In the G20 I've gotten 6 months to 1.5 years out of these bulbs and I agree that they do not last long. The trick is to not to set your lights to Auto, and turn them on only when you need them. Its well worth the cost and replacement time for safety when driving at night.(If you car take the bulbs that have the high and low beam in the same bulb, like my Infiniti G20, it sucks when the bulb goes but its better than driving around with yellow dim lights at night). 5 Stars for taking my 10 year old and 6 year old car to the modern 2011 age of HID bright white lights. If the lens on your head lights are all fuzzy, try the turtle wax lens cleaner, they work great..... money and time well spent. !!!

Purchased Dec. 7th 2024 for the Toyota Camry, perfect fit, but one bulb failed March 4, 2026. These halogens simply are not worth it. They are only designed to last 300 hours and that’s definitely no joke. It’s simply not worth buying halogens when LEDs are widely available. Just buy the Sylvania 9006 ultra LEDs and be glad that you did. Halogens are a waste of time and money at this point. The only reason why LEDs are not DOT approved is because they can blind other drivers when installed improperly. So just buy the LEDs and install them properly and enjoy the 10,000+ hour life that they offer. It’s a no brainer. Over the life of the bulbs, you’ll spend more $$$ on halogens than you will with LEDs. These halogens don’t have a lifetime warranty, but the ultra LEDs do. Both are easy to install, it’s a light bulb for goodness sake! The LEDs just stick out more because of the aluminum housing. The halogens are more like-for-like OEM replacements, but the LEDs will fit and last MUCH longer. Get the right equivalent LED model 9006 and it will work. In the Camry, the daytime running lights (DRLs) work off the high beams, so the low beam LEDs are completely unaffected by the DRLs, so you don’t even have to worry about flickering. It’s a simple on/off with low beams. Hope this helps so you don’t make the same mistake I did.
