I fretted over which bulbs to put into my 2005 Camry SE as I wanted bulbs that were bright white, provided a clean spread of light, and lasted reasonably long but did not break the bank coming in at about $30 dollars a pair. And after taking a chance on these Sylvanias, I was not dissapointed. More than once these bulbs helped light the way in pure darkness, in rain, snow, fog etc as I live in Iowa where we get all the 4 seasons. I also have enjoyed the looks of the bulbs from the outside providing a clean expensive look. So I replaced both my bulbs February 2nd, 2011 and just a couple days ago the left bulb went dead and therefore lasted an approximate time of 1year 10months with one bulb still chugging along. I felt this amount was more than reasonable considering I often accidentally forget to switch my headlights off more often than not so I figure I got nearly 2yrs on the bulbs despite frequent daytime use and that's pretty great. In addition, I do not feel the remaining bulb is burning very much dimmer than the replacement I've placed in which was another of these same bulbs. I am happy and satisfied with these bulbs. Pros: Clean white light Even field of illumination with great peripheral spread and illuminates further ahead of vehicle which is useful to avoid hitting deers! Midlevel price tag Maintains majority of brightness through life Lasts nearly 2years despite frequent daytime use Functions well in all weather conditions Does not glare into other drivers eyes Possible Cons: Not any noticable blue tint if you prefer that look which doesn't bother me. Not the cheapest set Hope this review was helpful!

Super bright! The lifespan is less than I would hope for, but knowing my family can see better at night is worth it. On average I get about 9 months before one burns out. The only bulb I put in any of our vehicles are SilverStar Ultra!

I bought these because my old ones were starting to dim. Apparently they dim over about 9-12 months. Using them in conjunction with polishing the lenses made an unbelievable difference. These are so much brighter. I will start to replace them every year. They are a little more expensive but you get what you pay for. They were easy to install and fit correctly.

The low beam headlight bulb died on the passenger's side of the 2004 Toyota Camry. I looked for replacement bulbs on the internet and found that The 9006SU BP Silverstar Ultra was priced at about 49.00 dollars at one of the local automotive stores and was not carried by Walmartat at all(Walmart carries the lesser model to the one mentioned above and charges about 38 dollars and change plus tax.). Amazon wanted 39 dollars and change(for the Silverstar Ultra), shipped free. .. No Brainer. Effectively When you buy from Amazon, you get the top model set of low beam bulbs, pay 10 dollars less and you are ahead of the game for it. They are not bad in the performance department either. They were shipped from down south up to CT in about 5 working days at no cost to ship. I have to add that sylvania will honor this purchase for a 10 dollar rebate. See their website at [...]. I can not beat this deal, 30 dollars for a premium set of 50 dollar head light bulbs. Shop on line and save money while getting excellent quality products through websites like Amazon.com. Update 12/23/2011: The bulbs gave good light. They last 13 months and then just blow out. They are expensive to be sure. Replaced them with a lower cost GE bulb. I can live with these and feel that the Sylvania bulbs cost too much for the life they give. However, that being said, if you want a bright light and co$t is not a considerable factor, these(Silverstar Ultra), may be the bulb for you. Definitely less expensive to buy them from Amazon. Incidently, I bought the original Silverstar Ultra bulbs in 2009 (2 years ago), but have replaced them about a year ago with another set from Sylvania because they did not last a year. IF THEY GO ON SALE, THOUGH,I would buy them again for the quality of light they provide. 3/1/2012 Update. They did not go on sale, but i bought a used set from Amazon warehouse deals. The package had been opened, but the bulbs had no finger prints on them. Finger prints cause early failure, if you find any finger prints on the bulbs, wash them off with a soft cloth soaked with rubbing alcohol and dry them good. I bought the second set because my wife "thinks" she prefers them. Oh well, I guess I will not have to buy any head lamps for a while. Can not beat Amazon's price at any rate.

These are a perfect replacement bulb for my Accord. It fits just like the original and has good brightness without blinding other drivers. Installation difficulty will vary depending on your car of course.

Absolute garbage. Bought these back in March 2025. Here it is December 2025 and I already have one going out. Last set that I had lasted for at least five years and I only replaced them because they were getting old. Decided to polished my headlights off with some clear coat and install these new set of fresh bulbs thinking that I wouldn’t have to mess with them again for a long time. These are very bad quality… DO NOT RECOMMEND!
