This house is sized for small dog or, in our case, our outdoor kitty. I like the side entrance door so I/3 of the inside is not directly in line with the door opening. The opening is bigger than necessary for a cat, but probability ok for a small dog. I like that it is raised up a couple inches so water does not flow in- but due to actual no door on the opening rain will splash in. We placed the cat bowl with the food inside close to the back and side and it stayed dry. The “vent” in the back corner did let in cold air so we taped over it- the vent is probably good to circulate air in the summer. In NY winters we needed it to be warmer. We actually placed a heated cat warmer inside and that kept kitty warm. ... show more

Our family of feral cats love their little houses so much! It's getting cold and a bit rainy where we live, so I wanted to get something the kitties could shelter in. I bought the first one, and it was so easy to put together! The cats took to it immediately, so I got another one. This is a super cute dog house and really easy to assemble.     • Great product but won’t fit large dogs
I loved the product was super cute super easy to put together. With that being said the only downfall I had with it was I have a medium/ large size German shepherd mix and it was WAY to small for him . As far as the size I would stick to small/ medium sized dogs like french bulldogs to collies in size range . Unless your larger dogs are super thin and like tiny spaces. ... show more

The side removable door does not stay latched very well. Will likely try to just wire it shut to keep the wind and rain out. Other than that it’s holding up nicely.

I don’t think it’s for large dogs at all. More for smaller or medium sized but not large. My shepherd and rott mix puppy is 6months and it’s almost too small for him already
