So far so good with this $1,070 “used” RC Pro! I got the RC Pro to pair with my Air 2S, Mini 3 Pro and Mavic 3. I already have RC Controller that came with the Mini 3 Pro but I really wanted to experience the RC Pro. I took a chance by buying it used but I must say that I’m very happy I did. Shipping was laterally 2 days to my door step. I was concerned that I was going to receive a used unit that was scratched or otherwise just “used”. What I received was a unit in its original DJI product box still shrink wrapped and unopened. The product box was slightly dented in on the corners but not excessively. I opened the box and removed the plastic bag from the RC Pro. The charging cable and “instruction” was also inside just as expected from a new unit. It’s literally a brand new RC Pro controller and I paid $1,070 (plus tax). It had about 50% battery charged out of the box when I turned it on. Since it had never been linked to another drone my setup was easy and flawless for all three of my drones. Charged it to 100% overnight, no issues with charging it. Flew today with all three drones and all is perfect so far and so far all my concerns are gone. Yeah, I definitely love this thing and for me it’s a nice upgrade from the RC Controller (which is also a very nice unit, love the RC Controller too!). This thing feels premium and solid, really nice! I definitely enjoy having the extra custom buttons on the RC Pro and I use them all. So bottom line, I literally had none of the issues that others have had in the comments. Maybe I got lucky but definitely happy just the same. I was prepared to immediately return this unit if it were scratched or otherwise in an over used condition but I’m definitely keeping this unit. By the way, I bought the Mavic 3 used from the same seller recently. Same thing, the drone was new and in perfect condition. No problem at all with the setup and adding DJI Care refresh to it. I’m just a regular customer, and this is a legitimate product review. No one influenced my comments. ... show more

The DJI RC pro is amazing. It’s fast, good connectivity, and bright sharp screen. It will run the 3rd party apps, which *IF you have a drone with the SDK* is great. Downsides: battery life sucks. Have to recharge within 3-4 batteries for the drone. Heavier. If you are in need of using 3rd party apps for the operation of the drone, and in bright sunlight, get it. If you’re flying a Mavic 3 or similar, don’t bother. Get the RC and a shade. ... show more

This makes using the drone so much better. Love not having to attach the phone or tablet to the transmitter. It’s usual DJI quality. The screen is very bright, even in direct sun light. Now with the screen at its brightens t it does consume the battery faster but that’s to be expected I guess. Overall the RC PRO to me is worth it. Less gear to carry around with you. ... show more

I bought the mavic 3 a year ago with the standard controller I tried the iPhone 12pro worked great but the screen would dim especially on sunny hot days then used the iPad mini 6 nice big screen but way to dim then I bought the rc controller a way better option and I really enjoyed it… I fly over 2000 miles a year taking photos of different things out over the ocean I also use the air2s .. finally I found a great deal on the rc pro o man let me tell you that it so much better then the rc controller which I felt was a excellent solution the rc pro is much faster operating and the signal strength is far better I can now get out over 2 miles over the water at a altitude of under 50 feet if you fly drones you know that you must increase altitude the farther away you get and with rc pro it no problem the screen is very bright and the operating system is very easy to use overall I’m happy to have bought it my drone flying experience is at a new level .. if you can afford it and you have the air2s or mavic 3 .. the rc pro is a excellent option ... show more

Absolute perfection compared to using your phone and regular controller. I also got .5 more mile range (with my Mavic 3) with the dual antenna system this has. Screen is very bright in sunlight. Love it! I have been into drones for 8 years now and this RC Pro is just great! Changes my whole outlook on flying drones now that I can stop putting my phone up there. Seemed I would always hit the power off button while flying and I had to fumble with the set up. Well that ended today. I find myself flying more and more. My picture I enclosed does not do the screen justice because the camera set the ISO off the sidewalk but the screen is very very bright in direct sunlight. If you have the money I would highly recommend this over the non pro version. I fully recommend this and if I end up dropping and breaking this by accident I would not hesitate to repurchase it. I only bought it because I don't want to have to use my cell phone for flying at all. It's reliable and solid feeling. The screen is just the right size, though admittedly I used to have a larger screen (tablet) which I liked better, but this is compact and easy-to-use.
