When the quill return spring on my drill press broke, I looked for replacement Delta parts. A search returned several results - most of the flavor 'obsolete part; no longer available'. I pulled out my calipers and measured the original spring and this looked to be a viable replacement. It was. It came packaged such that installing it in the original housing was very easy.
