A very fun drone to use. Great for beginners and pros alike. I was amazed at the quality of photos and videos having such a small camera. The drone is very stable in flight. I was also impressed that it could record audio and cut out the prop noise! It may be a little off, so you have to correct that in post production. Probably the least capable DJI drone, but its so impressive for its size, its hard to believe something so small can do 4K video, fly 35 Mph, fly in FPV mode and fly up to 10 kilometers away! Its way under 250 grams so you don't have to register it with the FAA. I already had the Avata 2 so I didn't need the controllers or goggles, so this was pretty cheap to add to my fleet. You could fly it without a controller by just using hand signals, it flies with your phone, the motion 3 controller, the RCN3 controller, the remote controller 3 and even the RC2 controller, and it also works with Googles 3. Its great for flying around the house while I wait for sprint in Minnesota, I can't wait to get it outside! ... show more

It's a great drone for simple tasks or just for quick fun shots. It is very compact and you can even use it without a controller. Camera features, range and speed are going to be limited without a proper controller. Since it is very small and light, it is pretty hard to stabilize with windy weather. Also, it is definitely not going to perform good on low light or dark conditions. It only has 2 sensors on the bottom to scan the surface for landing purposes. If you try to force the limits of this drone I can guarantee you'd lose it by hitting a tree or falling a ditch somewhere. I think getting the fly more combo is a must because I got less than 10 minutes of flight time on each battery. Battery life varies by the conditions of wind and altitude you are flying. Lastly, I think video quality is pretty good for the size of a drone like this and DJI has pretty good app to quick view of what you shot. ... show more

I absolutely love my little Neo! As someone who owns multiple drones, I was thrilled to find this Mini 4 Neo works great with all my different DJI controllers: the regular controller, the RC Plus with screen, and the FPV controller with goggles. All connections worked perfectly with no issues. Ideal for Indoor Flight While the flight time on these tiny batteries isn't long, it comes with three batteries and they charge fast, making extended flight sessions easy. This drone is perfect for flying indoors during the winter or in high-ceiling environments. Be aware that it is very light (not for high winds) and lacks obstacle avoidance, so you need to be careful. Pro Tip for New Pilots Like most small drones, lighting is key: If you lose GPS, it defaults to hover. If it gets too dark, the drone can behave strangely. This is normal, but new pilots should be aware. (Adding a small light helps, but adds weight and affects flight time.) Even with these considerations, the Neo is a great indoor flier, even if my dogs hate it! ... show more
