Very impressed with this mini split! It cools the room quickly and runs much quieter than I expected. The 18,000 BTU power is perfect for larger spaces, and the inverter system helps keep the temperature stable without constantly turning on and off. Installation kit included almost everything needed, which made setup easier. The gray color also looks modern and blends nicely with the room. Great value for the price so far. ... show more

I should recieve a free unit from the company. Not because the priduct is bad, but because the product is so go four of our friends have ordered them since installing the inital unit. We bought one for my husbands 72 year old uncle. His ac unit went out instead of replacing the unit .We bought him the 18000btu unit. The remote control is easy enough for him to operate. With the easy install we had it mounted and running with in a few hours. (Would of been quicker but we had to install the 220 electric line) The unit is very quiet. The size of the room : His living room has an open floor plan with the kitchen and dinning room square foot is roughly 579 square foot but we went with the bigger unit due to vaulted celinings and "the men " (husband and uncle) didn't want the unit to be over worked. So far it has been a very reliable product, Only time will tell if it cools everything down. Since installing four of our friends have asked about product and requested help installing thier when they come in. We will be purchasing three unit ourself in the near future. ... show more

I would say it’s cheaper for a reason. Had I not installed some mini splits before this would have been very frustrating. In some aspects it still was, I installed on a flat 1/2 zip system wall in. A trailer. The clips would not keep it locked it, I had to drill holes and zip them the to the clips. They really are all built very similar but the build quality of the Della units are much better. The heat exchanger/condenser is only protected with With a plastic shroud that sits right up against the fins. That said, it seems to be working fine. The whip it comes with is 14 gauge and I’m not sure why. Most everything I saw online for 115v says 12 gauge. It was also not really something I felt comfortable with as it could be damaged easy. I bought an armolite 12/2 as it’s going on my work trailer. I’ll also need to ad some new shrouds to help keep them protected, I’d do this even if it was on my house. We will see how it works but it seems to be working as it should. But if you haven’t done one before don’t plan on the directions being helpful. ... show more

Excellent unit. Have used in both summer and winter at this point in Kansas. Cooling is great but heating is a little lacking for ~1,000 sf. Although not covered in the installation manual, I did evacuate the system which did require an adapter to fit the orifice. Unit produced very little noise in normal operation and was pretty easy to install. The remote works great but the icons could should be changed for more clarity. A fire sign for heat versus a sun would be a little less confusing to my wife. ... show more
