I’ve been really impressed with the DJI Neo 2 so far. The size and portability are fantastic—it’s small enough to take anywhere but still powerful enough to capture great footage. The 4K video quality is sharp and stable thanks to the improved gimbal and stabilization, and it’s incredibly easy to get good shots even if you’re new to drones. One thing I really like is how simple it is to fly. The gesture controls and tracking features make it easy to capture yourself walking, biking, or just getting creative shots without needing a complicated setup. The obstacle sensing and tracking features also make it feel much safer and easier to use than older entry-level drones. For such a compact drone, the performance is impressive. Flight time is around 18–19 minutes, which is more than enough for quick flights and capturing content, and the built-in storage means you don’t have to worry about carrying extra cards. Overall, this is an excellent drone for beginners, travelers, and anyone who wants a small drone that’s quick to deploy and fun to fly. Great value for the price. ... show more

Right out of the box, it feels thoughtfully designed for convenience, safety, and portability. The lightweight build makes it incredibly easy to carry around, and because it’s so compact, it’s perfect for travel, quick outdoor trips, or spontaneous family moments. The full-coverage propeller guards are a huge plus because they add peace of mind, especially for newer pilots or anyone flying in tighter spaces. One of my favorite features is the palm takeoff and landing. It makes launching and landing feel effortless, and the gesture controls add a fun, modern touch that makes the whole experience more intuitive. The tracking performance is also excellent — it keeps the subject in focus smoothly and reliably, which is a big help when capturing moving shots. The 4K imaging quality is another highlight. Videos and photos come out crisp, detailed, and vibrant, making it easy to capture great memories without needing bulky equipment. I also appreciate the built-in safety features like omnidirectional obstacle sensing, which makes flying feel much more confident and controlled.     • Better than I thought it would be
Size: DJI Neo 2 Motion Fly More Combo
Absolutely 5 stars. I've been flying drones for a few years now, and this is by far the most complete one yet. As a way to get into the FPV experience, this was my first, and was not disappointed. Took about two weeks to arrive, but well worth the wait. Not sure where to start, but here we go. Best follow drone I've seen yet. I have the Hoverair X1, and it does a great job of tracking, but this one is even better. I walked through a very dense tree line yesterday, and it had no problem dodging the tree branches. I was fun to watch the video later and see it dodging up and down. So precise. The goggles are an amazing experience. Truly immersive and hard to describe if you have never flown one of these. The control is very precise and the obstacle avoidance is next level. It really keeps an eye on you and will allow some level of freedom, but won't allow you to get into any danger. Which is funny, because this thing is basically indestructible. The outer shell is super solid. I crashed once in the basement when I tried to play with sport mode, but it just bounced off and was ready to start right back up. I've seen a few reviews of the original Neo and there are lots of reviews of numerous crashes and I have yet to see a single one where the drone was damaged. I expect the same for the Neo 2. I'll be purchasing the FPV controller at some point once I get a little more experienced. With the motion controller you cannot go into true manual control for max speed and agility, but this is great for now. Good news is all the DJI controllers basically work with all the drones. I have an Air 3 and can use the RC-N3 controller and it worked great. OH and don't forget about the gesture control. You have to try it to believe it. I call it Jedi mind mode, and it does sort of feel like it. Just yesterday I did my first audio recording through the DJI fly app, and it really did remove the drone prop sound. Pretty shocking how well it did. To recap, can't think of one thing negative to report on this one. At $599 it was too hard to pass up. ... show more
