My controller will not connect with the drone even after contacting dji im still having issues. Update 8/28/19 After I contacted DJI and did everything they asked me to do, to try and connect the drone with the controller nothing was not working. They sent me a shipping label via email and I had to print it out find a box that the controller and drone fit in that wasn't to big made sure it will arrive in one piece. Then I taped it all up with the shipping label outside with the case number that DJI had given me for my case written outside the box. (This number will be given when they are expecting your drone and it will be emailed and also on the shipping label it self.) then I went to a ups store where I could get a receipt and a tracking number. After a few short days they emailed me when they received it and thru out the process of them reviewing and fixing/replacing the drone. Mine ended up having a (bad Board) it was all covered under warranty and they even send you a break down of what was wrong and the value of the Fix if it were to be billed to you. It was sent to me and I actually just received it as am writing this update. ... show more

I live in the Washington DC suburbs. I spent close to $1400.00 for a Mavic Air and fly more package which is 2 extra batteries. The built in geofencing does not even allow me to fly it inside my house much less outside and I don’t have the luxury of driving 20 miles out every time to fly my drone for a few minutes. So I flew it a total of 3 times since the time of purchase. Several months ago I took it with me to the beach to find the intelligent batteries (all 3 of them) have gone to some kind of sleep mode and no matter what I did, they are as good as door stops and so is my $1000.00 mavic air. The batteries are $200.00 each. That is an intelligent battery alright. Don’t buy DJI if you’re not going to fly regularly. ... show more
