To use Gyroflow stabilization, turn off electronic stabilization in the goggles menu before flight and set the angle to wide- angle to ensure that the footage is recognized by Gyroflow and stabilized effectively. 8. The maximum flight time of the aircraft is measured at a constant flying speed of 21.6 kph in a windless environment at sea level, with camera parameters set to 1080p/30fps, video mode off, and from 100% battery level until 0%. Data is for reference only. Always pay attention to reminders on the goggles screen during your flight. 9. DO NOT connect the charger, connect external devices, or insert/remove any batteries during power accumulation. 10. The 13km transmission distance can only be achieved under the FCC standard when measured without interference in an open outdoor environment. The above data shows the farthest communication range for one- way, non-return flights under each standard. During your flight, pay attention to RTH reminders on the goggles screen. 11. Measured using 1080p/100fps video transmission, tested outdoors in an open interference-free environment. 12. DJI Avata 2 is factory set to automatically perform Return to Home (RTH) if the drone signal is disconnected, and users can change the setting to hover or land before takeoff according to the actual flight scenario. 13. If the 5.8GHz frequency band is not available (such as in Japan), screen sharing to the smartphone via Wi-Fi is not available. To achieve this function, a wired connection is recommended. Before flying, check and confirm local radio and aviation laws and regulations. 14. Tested in an open outdoor environment free of interference. The video transmission distance varies with the operating environment. 15. The power loop feature has a fixed radius and speed, which cannot be altered. The loop radius is set at 5 meters, and the minimum effective height is 1.5 meters.

This was my first drone to own and to fly. It was very easy to learn to fly, I was quickly flying it around and under obstacles on the first flight! So far batter life is about 17-20 minutes, depends on how fast I get it going, but having those extra batteries keeps me in the air! When flying near a power source, I’m able to fully charge a battery while flying on the others, while using a 75 watt charger. Having the first person view from the drone is very immersive. Its size allows for indoor flying but this thing handles very nicely outdoors. Overall video quality is great, and I’m impressed on how agile this drone is. Good quality. Fun to fly. Works well. No obstacle avoidance but does avoid the ground while flying at low altitude. It has basic RTH - works but not extremely accurate. Find my drone features are limited so I wouldn’t fly it far from home. Can be used as a camera drone - good quality camera. But its strong suit is a fun, agile, fast FPV drone. Very complete and super intuitive to use! Lots of fun! Picture quality is superb, and the goggles let you feel like you are sitting in the cockpit. Only a few recommendations: Fly time is around 20 minutes with a full charge, so it's batería if you get a fly more version, or just extra batteries. It comes with one usb type-c cable, but you need to charge the goggles, the motion controller, and the drone, so you better have more cables and plus (much better if you get a proper battery charger for the drone battery, because via usb is so slooooowwww). At last, get two micro-sd cards (one for the drone and the other one for the googles), so you can enjoy every function right away. ... show more

I love my DJI Avata 2 — the quality and functionality are excellent, and the FPV experience is amazing. The features and connectivity are smooth, making it really fun and easy to fly. I do feel like it doesn’t reach quite as far as the first DJI model, but it’s still plenty for most flights. Durability is impressive — I hit a tree at full speed and nothing broke, which says a lot about the build.
