This magnet is no joke. I bought it primarily for nail cleanup and general utility around my homestead, and it's exceeded expectations. Despite the compact 2-inch size, the pull strength is incredibly strong — easily yanks up buried nails, screws, or old fencing staples from the dirt. It’s also proven useful for retrieving dropped tools in tight or muddy spots. You do have to be careful with handling — it will snap to metal hard and fast, so keep fingers clear and keep it stored safely. Great for fishing metal out of hard-to-reach places or even hanging heavy-duty tools. Definitely a solid investment if you need reliable pulling power in a small package.

I ordered this magnet to retrieve a heavy steel pole I use for docking my boat, which I accidentally knocked off the dock and into the water yesterday. I figured it was a long shot, given the weight and the fact the pole would now be in the mud full of water. On my first try, the magnet latched onto the pole and I pulled it right up. It saved me a lot of time, effort and money. The magnet is STRONG. This will come in handy for a lot of things around the boat. Can’t beat it, especially for $10.

Used this to pick up metal out-of the drive way. Tied a rope to it and drug it around the drive and worked well. Not sure how much it'd hold but it did what I needed it to. If u stick it to bare metal the magnet strength is strong enough I had to pry it off so it held pretty well. It is kinda smaller than I was hoping for but it works

This magnet is incredibly strong for its size — it easily pulls up heavy objects and works great for magnet fishing or retrieving dropped tools. The compact 2-inch design makes it easy to handle, and the coating feels durable. I was able to pull up nails, bolts, and even an old wrench from the river, and in the garage it held heavy metal securely. The only downsides are that it can be very tough to detach once it locks onto something solid, and you have to be careful not to pinch your fingers. Overall, a powerful and reliable magnet that’s great for hobby or workshop use.

This little tool seriously helped us out during construction. Somehow a few things had fallen into our plumbing pipe.. including screws from drywall that must have been kicked around while the house was a construction zone. After pulling out some of the bigger debris, we tied this magnet to a string and sent it down. It worked perfectly to collect the screws! The design of the magnet really made the difference. Having a solid top to attach to was what saved us and made the whole job possible. Simple but effective. Definitely worth having on hand.

This magnet is definitely useful and has a good amount of strength, but it’s nowhere near the advertised 350 lbs of pull. It will hold small to medium items securely and works fine for basic projects, but don’t expect it to live up to the heavy-duty claims. The size is practical, and it’s still a handy tool to have around, just not as powerful as marketed. For the price, it’s adequate, but the exaggerated strength rating is misleading. A decent magnet, but be realistic about its actual holding power.

This is a heavy duty magnet. It strong. Stuck it to some metal siding took to people to pull it off. Only negative is the screw eye. Could be made a bit stronger. But great for the price.

This magnet was perfect. My wife dropped her phone at the bottom of a lake and we went back a week later and was able to find it. I would recommend a larger size for that specific purpose but it worked, it just took about an hour even knowing the general location due to the smaller size magnet. It was more than strong enough to grab the magsafe case even with mud and plant life stuck to it. Side Note: galaxy s25ultra still worked after being dried out. 7 days at the bottom of a lake didn't stop it.
