There are a couple issues with this product. One, white is not white, many of the colors are not what you would perceive to be that color such as yellows and blues. The length is quite long especially for an LED strip. It was super lightweight and really easy to put up. You can control it with an app on your phone or with the remote. The remote needs direct access to the part of the cord the sensor is on. I was also in hopes that this could potentially have a bright enough white to light a room. Very nice string of lights. They work well but aren't very bright. Also, you must be fairly close for the remote to work, as well as it must be pointing directly at the receiver which is small.

Compared to other sets I've owned, they are dim, not quite bright especially with the lighter colors. The remote is basic, the app I can't get to work. The adhesive is not quite achieving adhesive. In all not for someone looking for bright lights with accessible multiple options. I put mine on the drop ceiling in my basement for some fun lighting but in the end, the lights do get brighter and then dimmer depending on colors although compared to my other sets, overall not illuminating as well. Also found out the hard way that they rip easily, never had that happen before so lost a little less than a quarter because it split. ... show more

    • Lights are nice, and easy to install, but…
The directions that come with the lights have a QC for the app, but it isn’t connecting to the lights. My Bluetooth is on, lights are connected to Bluetooth, and the app has access to it but it doesn’t connect the lights. There is another QC on the IR receiver, which downloads a second app that actually connects to the lights and works. That app does not have any rainbow lighting or multi-color lighting options (as pictured above). I don’t even know if the remote has a battery or works either. I pulled out the clear tab, but it isn’t functioning. I can’t take the battery compartment out either, as it is cemented in and I am afraid I will break it if I try to pry it out. There is a push button on the end of it but it doesn’t move. I’m glad one of the apps work (although it seems weird to have 2 different apps for the product) so I can use a remote option on my phone. But the physical remote and Happy Light app are useless. ... show more

    • Good strip not as bright as other LED lights
I have a 16.5 foot LED set of lights with noticeably larger individual lights that are brighter. However, in dim settings where you want to cover a large area these lights work well. They mounted easily and stay in place after mounting. I have not tried to cut them but instead opted to utilize the entire length and cover as many linear length on my walls. That does take a bit of planning how to roll out 150 feet of lighting but it's very well worth it and when utilizing the entire length you get the right amount of brightness. The included tiny remote works as expected and you can also opt for an app on your phone to control the same light settings. I would definitely recommend putting this on your Amazon Watch List and make a move when they go on sale. i love these lights they are so cool we put them up around our living room to give off more ambiance to the room. they stick well and i love the app feature on them to make them what colors you want and where and can also have them go with sound as well great for when we have friends over with music on for them to go with the beat. definitely need to get more for other rooms of the house ! also would be great as gifts everyone that comes over loves them ... show more
