I do have experience building miniatures, but I also think that this kit would be suitable for a beginning. The instructions are very clear, which is not always the case with kits like this. Things are clearly labeled, and the images on the instructions are detailed and helpful. It's easy to punch out the pieces you need for assembly. Nothing split or broke. You obviously can't get rough with it, but it's as sturdy as you can expect for the price point. I have no complaints. This does not come with glue, so you'll want to have some on hand for assembly. Tweezers are also helpful for dealing with the smaller bits of the kit. I'd recommend just assessing what you need before you get started, because it's a lot easier to have everything ready than to try to stop once the build is in progress. For the tailor shop, you'll also need scissors. Overall, this is a cute kit for a miniatures enthusiast, and it would make a good project to do with a child. The mini tailor shop would be a good gift for someone's sewing room. It's a great rainy day project!

The miniature pet shop isn’t quite what I expected and will take lots more time than I anticipated. All the wood sheets are solid; they’re cut and notched well. However, everything requires “sticker” application. This isn’t uncommon, but the adhesive on the stickers isn’t the greatest. The instruction booklet is lacking much-wanted textual explanation. I’m spending a great deal of time going back and forth, uncertain if I’m putting things together properly. Putting miniature rooms together takes patience but it should be a highly enjoyable process. I’m a bit disappointed with some of the tiny extras. The dog and the cat are cute, and many other pieces are solidly made, but some feel cheap and flimsy. I just expected better quality objects for the price point.

The media could not be loaded. I have been building miniature kits for several months now. This has a lot of detail and does take some time. I like the clarity of the directions and the pieces pop out easily. In that regard, the set is similar to Rowood. You do need your own glue, so be sure to grab some. I use a variety of craft glues and apply with a toothpick on the smaller pieces. Good value set and definitely giftable.see video and pictures.

This is an excellent tailor shop! It turned out really cute. It was so easy to put together and took me about 3 hours. All of the pieces were so easy to work with. The housing colors are so vibrant. This is a beautiful miniature house. It's a great value and it's perfect for gifting.
