Description

Avoid expensive repairs to cracks in your foundation by fixing them yourself using Flexomeric crack repair kits for foundations and basements. Flexomeric includes only the highest-quality concrete crack repair materials in its repair kits in order to insure that you successfully fill in cracks completely from the inside of the foundation wall through to the outside. The Flexomeric FLEXKIT-100 contains 2 single component, mid-range viscosity, high quality crack repair resin, crack surface paste and port adhesive, and ports needed to repair up to 8' long, 1/16" thick concrete foundation crack in an 8" thick wall. Flexomeric Crack Repair Resins can be injected into an actively leaking crack as it chemically reacts with water and bond to concrete to form a water- tight, flexible gasket through the entire wall thickness, eliminating any future leaks, guaranteed. • This Product works well. Great customer service.
I had over 10 basement leaks in our poured concrete basement walls. Some were addressed by the former owner but did not seem to keep the water out. One estimate was close to $30,000 to do extensive work. Another company wanted about $9,000 to strap the walls from the inside. Although I was a novice, I have had great success with this product. It fills the crack from the inside and the seal penetrates through the 8" thick wall to the outside. The seal looks like expanded foam but feels like rubber. I was a little messy at first but with experience, got better. There were 2 types of product, one is for regular cracks, the other is for hairline cracks. When some of the thinner material leaked past the seal of the caulk gun, I contacted the company by email and later on the phone. They were VERY helpful and spent over an hour talking to me. They also replaced the product that leaked past the caulk gun. From my experience, even the regular product made its way through the small cracks and that is probably what I would order if I needed more. Since I bought both products, I will repeat this review for both. Watch the Flexomeric video. ... show more

  • It works
The two components used to seal the crack, are better left overnight to solidify. The ports used, can be spaced much further apart then suggested, due to the fluidity of the sealant. Over-all, very good product. I’d suggest, from experience, that a port be put at the bottom of the crack, seal entire crack, place a port near the top of the crack, leave for a minimum of 12 hours, Then put the sealant in Top port until it pours out the bottom port, then cap off the bottom port, and continue putting sealant in. It is a very fluid solution, and will fill in easily. It fixed the crack, when other attempts by different People, failed. Good product. ... show more

  • Repair worked great
I followed the instructions and watched a video online prior to doing the repair. It worked as described and since I finished the repair the the crack in my poured foundation wall, I have had no leaks. It has been about a month since I repaired the crack and it has been pretty wet since then so seem to have worked well. ... show more

  • OK, but application hardware needs improvement
I've used competitor kits and this one is just OK but it seems that Flexomeric has cut some corners on this kit to keep it under $100 retail. The adhesive and injection resin seem fine, but the application tools could be better. First, the port covers are separate, small and easily misplaced...I've used other kits where these are already attached to the ports just requiring you to clip them in place once the resin begins to drip from them. No matter how careful you are, you will have a dripping mess of resin from the ports as you reach to secure the port covers. Also, they are not easily attached to the ports with gloves and you have to put down the caulk gun to do this as well. Second, the rubber tubing supplied that attaches to the resin cartridge and then to the ports when injecting the resin is the worst design element in this kit. They are too small and leak all over and out the ports because the seal is not as tight as it should be. It doesn't matter if you push the tube all the way over the port or not, they still leak. The resin will still work its way up to the next port but you'll have a mess running down your wall as well. I've used other kits that use a much better connector from the resin to the ports that is airtight and leak-free. I went with this one because of the sub $100 price point as I had the other tools to do the job without needing to spend more. I will consider another kit the next time around. ... show more

  • Do not buy
I have used a similar product before with great results. Ports are to small. Epoxy is sub par. Foam just blows out the back of the caulk gun. I saved 20$ a kit and probably lost 500$ on a job

  • Prep the area as instructed and go slow when injecting the product.
Worked great! I'm not the handiest guy, but the instructions were great, very easy. However, it is a little messy. Again, follow instructions and the mess is easily cleaned up. Important *** GO SLOW. I may have gone a little too fast, causing the above mentioned mess. Since this was done, I have not had a drop of water in my basement! Super product! ... show more

  • Amazing
I was quoted from 2G to 5G to repair the crack in my basement. I decided to give this a shot and have never looked back. 100% cured the leak and it has been 13 months without a drop of water in my basment.

  • No returns when you purchase this product
The two part epoxy does not spread well. First it is too runny and then becomes like jello all this happens quickly. The instruction tell you to mix small amounts. It is advertised to fill 1/2" crack and that may be but difficult to work with the epoxy to fill crack for injection. one pair of gloves that were hard to get on I fit into a mans medium leather glove. The base of the injection ports are very small. So I had to purchase a Bosch 5/32 in. X 6 in. Hex Shank Hammer Drill Masonry Bit LBHX002 to clean out the port for injection. The polyurethane foam injection is easy but frustrating to get to that part. Simpson strong tie injection ports and two part epoxy are far superior. I am a retired truck mechanic with no ties to Simpson strong tie. ... show more
