  • Surprisingly great speaker plus fun decor features
Color: Pink
I was really surprised about how great the sound quality of the speaker is. I thought it would be more gimmick than function but the speaker works very well. I have been wanting this speaker since it got big on social media during the pandemic and was able to snag it during a sale. It is definitly worth it if you're looking for a good desktop bluetooth speaker. I find having the screen going and the keys light up does drain the battery pretty fast but I just charge it overnight and it's no big deal. Definitely worth it! ... show more

This is super cute. It was definitely expensive for what it is but, it was for my daughter and she loves it regardless. She uses it non stop.

  • Love Love Love!
Color: Pink
The media could not be loaded. Well this was such a splurge for me but I haven’t been this happy with a product for a long time. This is just the cutest most darling thing ever! I’m a woman in her mid 30’s and still find enjoyment in cute things like this 🥰 I love all the customizations and the sound is actually really good. I only have it at the loudest 3-4 bars. I’m not trying to go deaf here lol. This is awesome for a Bluetooth speaker and digital pixel art. Planning on getting my little sister one for her bday. ... show more

  • A bizarre premium little...thing. I love it.
Color: White
This thing is so weird. It's definitely a novelty item. I just love it, though. You'll know it's different the second you get it. It comes in this nice gift bag, and inside that is about the most premium product packaging I've seen. Then you take it out and it's got nice weight, really high quality plastics, genuinely fantastic mechanical switches on the keys that feel fantastic, and a beautiful little 16x16 pixel screen. Everything on this device looks and feels SO GOOD. As a bluetooth speaker, it's...fine. I watched a lot of reviews saying it was great, and I don't believe it is. I have a over a dozen good bluetooth speakers of various shapes and prices (I'm kind of obsessed), and it sounds like what I'd expect out of a $30-50 bluetooth speaker. Which isn't bad. I've heard worse. My smallest speaker is an Altec Lansing Baby Boom XL that costs $25-30 new, and it didn't sound as good as this. This Divoom sounds louder and has a tiny bit of bass (very little, though) that adds some depth. But my Soundcore Boost speaker - which I THINK cost about $80 new - sounded way better. Then again, it's got two drivers and is a bit bigger, so it's not entirely fair. I didn't bother comparing it with my bigger and more expensive speakers. Basically, expect similar quality to, say, a JBL Clip 4, which is typically in the $50 range. It's way more than a speaker though. It's a fidget toy with the fun mechanical and super tactile keys and buttons. It's got a unique design. It's got a high quality screen. It's got simple games, weather, time, alarm, stopwatch, dice rolling, magic 8 ball, custom text display, and a showcase of pixel art from a large online community. I think the thing is extremely cool and well worth the money if you come in with the right expectations about sound for this size and want something fun to mess around with and cool to look at. ... show more

  • More than just a speaker - a fun, functional, and unique speaker
Color: Blue
This speaker is such a great & fun product! It's very unique, a good conversation starter, has great sound quality, and many other nice features. It's more than just a speaker too - it has various other features like an alarm clock, score keeper, stopwatch, planner/calendar, and the display is able to show some very nice pixel art, whether its your own creation or one of the many designs from the community shared on the app. Below is a breakdown of some of the speaker's features: Design: 5 out of 5 I love the design of this speaker. It looks like a retro computer, with a curved screen similar to an old CRT TV, and a classic pixel design. I love the way pixel art looks on this, and all the games give an old-school arcade feel. The small keyboard is mechanical and has a really good feel when using it, and the joystick is reminiscent again of old school arcades. One note on the joystick that I didn't expect from the picture is that it isn't a typical, 360 degree joystick, it really only moves one direction to select. The design is my favorite part of this product. Controls: 5 out of 5 The controls are very nice. You are able to change the current song through your phone or through the mechanical keyboard. The name of the song being played is displayed on the speaker when the song changes, and the joystick acts as an enter key. Like I mentioned earlier, using the mechanical keyboard is also very satisfying, especially when playing the games. Sound Quality: 4 out of 5 As I mentioned earlier, the sound is very good quality for the size of the speaker, especially the bass quality. If your highest priority is sound quality, this may not be the speaker for you (and you'd probably want to get a bigger speaker), but again, for the size of the speaker it's great, and this speaker again is so much more than a simple speaker. Also, chances are, unless you really have an ear for it, you won't think anything of the sound quality Games: 5 out of 5 Since this is advertised as a speaker, I didn't really have high expectations of the games, but I love them! There are a variety of classic games, such as Tetris and Snake (among others), and they are very fun to play, and work well with the limited controls. Phone app: 3 out of 5 As other people have noted, the phone app is kind of the weak spot of Divoom's speakers. The app gives you more control over your speaker - it allows you to post and find/display art from the community, and change what mode of display your speaker is on. However, there isn't a lot of clear documentation on the app, and some small things like the fact that animations don't show up on the app (at least in my case), and I was not able to view them until I clicked on it and it showed on the speaker. There are some things about the app that are still vague to me. However, that being said, I can still do all that I want with the app, and I think even with the confusing layout of the app, this speaker is great. ... show more
