Purchased for daughters mermaid themed birthday. She absolutely loves her hair (SO soft!), her gorgeous, thick tail and of course the 30 seconds of Part of your world which operates by pushing the pink button near her tummy. Sound clarity is awesome. If you dip her under water while playing the music, it automatically stops. Maybe it's a protection feature to make her last longer. Only thing my daughter doesn't like is that she doesn't bend. Her arms move, head moves, but that's it. I do wish they would make the button to control the music as a necklace vs having it at her stomach. A doll that sings AND bends....that's perfect. As of now, this singing doll that does not bend OR the same doll without music that does bend....are the only two available out there. Our daughter says she wants one that does both. My five year old likes it. Seems to be built well, and looks similar to the shows and movies she watches. Comes with some accessories. It's bigger than I thought, but again, she likes it. It is loud and annoying after the 1000 time it's played though...

I liked the fact that the doll looked like the actress in the movie. My granddaughter enjoyed getting the doll. However, neither of us liked the fact that the singing selection was so brief.
