I bought this for my stepdaughter’s 8th birthday. She was delighted with it and so was I! First- this is not meant to be a substantial jacket. It is at best a thin hoodie weight and if you size up can easily layer. We live in a warm climate so it’s perfect for this environment and in winter I would have her layer. Second- it’s not an exaggeration, this jacket runs small. She’s a tall child and after reading the reviews I ordered the 13-14 year old size. She may get a year out of it at MOST. With that said, it is an adorable novelty jacket that looks and wears well for the price!
