I originally only wanted something with clean & dirty on it, but found this and ordered it because I liked the stainless steel to match my dishwasher. I found that I'm using all the options (clean, dirty, empty, and running). It's easy to switch between settings and the sliders stay where you leave them. The stainless matches my dishwasher perfectly and the magnet sticks well without a lot of movement. It looks nice and simple and clean. The only downside is that it shows spots and fingerprints just like a stainless steel appliance.

The strength of the magnet is great. It does not move when shifting around the tiles. The look fits great on my stainless steel dishwasher. The tiles are easy to use, and glide more easily the more you use it. My favorite part is the label for "Running" because my dishwasher is very quiet, and it is easy to miss the fact that it is running.

The media could not be loaded. This dishwasher magnet has been a game-changer for our household. With so many people using the kitchen, keeping track of whether the dishes are clean, dirty, or if the dishwasher is currently running used to be a daily source of confusion. Since adding this magnet, that problem is completely solved, as long as everyone slides it to the correct setting, there's no more guessing. The magnet adheres securely to the dishwasher without slipping, and the slider mechanism moves smoothly into place for each label: clean, dirty, or running. It’s easy enough for our younger kids to use, and it stays in position until someone intentionally moves it. The labels are clearly printed and easy to read at a glance, even from across the kitchen. The tiles do not glide smoothly; instead, you must remove the indicator from the machine and flip it upside down to facilitate their movement. This issue stems from a design flaw rather than a singular defective unit. On a positive note, the item is visually appealing and features large, clear writing.
