For the price you really can't go wrong. Now I wouldn't mount this scope on a Spring Piston air rifle but as far as mounting this on a PCP air rifle "YES". I really like this scope, I think it is noticeably better than a similarly priced Vortex scope of mine. The adjustments are accurate and the glass is as clear as you could ever dream of in a scope of this price.

I really wanted to love this scope because I do love the reticle. It has numbered mil dot hash marks and is first focal plane. Mine would not focus at or beyond 100yds at any magnification or ocular focus. I have 3 of the previous model in 4-16 and I like them a lot. For the price this is an excellent FFP rifle scope. Windage and elevation are easily adjustable with very positive (tactile) clicks. Sight in was short and sweet with predictable adjustments based on point of impact. Reticle is crisp and focused well, surprisingly the 6 to 24 range is very consistent throughout its adjustment and no distortion was noted. The side parallax is smooth and operated flawlessly and is very sensitive during adjustments. This is a vey nice low budget optic. One issue I had is the eye relief, it is very sensitive and it took a little time to get used to. It only has about 3/8’s of an inch window for full field of view and your eye placement is fairly close (less than 2 inches). I have it mounted on a Rock Island Armory TM22, so I’m not concerned about any recoil issues and scope ringing an eye socket. Out to 100 yards this setup will drive tacks consistently. 300 rounds later, I had a very detailed dope sheet and the scope track was consistent and predictable. If the manufacturer could work on the eye relief issue, I’d bolt one of these scopes on any one of my other larger bore rifles without hesitation. Solid scope for a powder 22 or a PCP would be all I’d feel comfortable using this on. ... show more

Budget friendly scope with decent glass. Turrets are okay but are a bit soft. Can't go wrong with this scope. 6x24x50 with 30mm tube.

Discovery HT 6-24x40 FFP scope. For the price it's ok. Previous Discovery FFP scopes are priced at about double of what this is selling for and this one is built down to a price. Being only a 40mm objective, the eye relief, exit pupil and brightness are all below the usual Discovery quality. Even their low end "RT" model seems better. The faults that I mentioned are noticeable. I bought one to check it out but won't be using it. The "upside" is that it is a first focal plane scope, the glass is pretty sharp and the turrets work well with a good click feel. That being said if you really want/need an FFP scope , this is the cheapest one you'll find. ... show more

Parallax would not even clear up, it didn't even work no matter how I turned it. Glass was far from clear. 5 minutes on the gun and I was done. Sent back.
