I put this on a 7mm PRC. This scope seems to be high quality. It performs well and has crisp clicks when you adjust the scope. The turrets are easy to zero. The glass is clear.the reticle in the center lights up in all direction for two mils. The scope came packaged with high rings and a lense brush. This scope says it has a lifetime warranty on the original owner. I don’t think I’ll be breaking this anytime soon but it’s nice to have that backup. ... show more

Love this scope. A lot of snobs will insist you can only have $3000 German alpha glass on your beater .22 but for those of us not taking our PRS setups into 700-yard sniper shootouts, this is a fantastic scope. Easy zero, keeps zero, ED glass, good tracking, I haven’t tried it with an elephant rifle, but get consistent inch-or-less groups at 100 yards with 17HMR and with this scope you can see where you’re hitting. It’s not the best of the best glass, but you’ll have to pay about 3X more to get a difference you’ll notice. UPDATE After my glowing review above, I’m already regretting my words. 3 days after the return window closed, I noticed that the entire reticle isn’t centered in the scope and is shifted to the left of the field of view, As I zoom in and the reticle gets larger, the left side of the reticle falls out of the field of view before the right side does. I think it was delivered that way and I didn’t notice before and corrected around it when I first zeroed. Looking at the QC test sheet that was included with the scope, I see that the reticle passed tests for edge distortion and “light ring, not missing, cuts and thrones [yes, that’s what it says]” but nothing about a test for centered. Changing my rating from five stars to three. I guess I get to see how well the warranty is honored. Will update later. ... show more

For the price, the optic has the best glass in its class. The zero stop is very easy to use, unlike Arken's. Adjustments work great. I shot a 1/2moa group of my new upper and I was quite surprised the clarity of the scope even at highest magnification. The scope leveling kit was very handy. If you need to reduce mirage of the barrel, this scope came with 3 piece of sunshade which would help a lot. Overall great purchase. ... show more

this is much better than a riton conquer, glass is incredible, no black ring, reticle super sharp, clear up to 25 power, did mention the glass is the best I have seen, super sharp and clear, zero chromeatic effect

This scope punches way above its price point, it would punch above its price point at double the cost it is now! the glass is clear , turrets are amazing, IR is great and it just works!

    • Dissapointment.
Overall the scope looks nice. The illuminated reticle knob was finicky and you have to jiggle the dial to stay on. It doesn't come on at the exact click. The most dissapointment was when i contacted the company to get replacement was told to go through amazon which didnt have an option for exchange. The return process was a pain. There are no options to drop it off. You have to have UPS pick it up and adult must be present to hand over to driver. I ask if i can have it picked up from my work and thats not an option either. It's non sense to expect people to take off work to just wait for UPS driver. I can only imagine what that warranty nightmare is going to be like. ... show more

I have many other Discovery scopes, but this one stands out at the top. Huge knobs with great knurling, Crystal clear glass, a bargain for the price point. Highly recommended.

The media could not be loaded. The Optics ED 5-25x56mm Rifle Scope by Discoveryopt, is a high quality, well performing option, that offers a lot of value and extras. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – This is a very good quality option that I’d put on the lower side of the upper section of the quality scale. Because of its solid structure and adjustments, I’d guess it should hold up well over time. II. Performance – This has been a great performing scope that is easy to install, see, and use the illuminated reticle. It comes with a lot of very usable accessories that tries to provide the needed things for install and use. The magnify cation adjustments are also easy to use and smooth in transition. Overall, this has been a great scope that has worked wonderful and left me very happy with my choice. I have many scopes with different levels of cost and this one provides a great value proposition for what you’re getting. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems. If you’d find it helpful to see a visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen or landscape. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video! You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product.
