This has not been opened yet because it is a Christmas gift for my 12 year old grandson who loves science. It might be too simplistic for him to get the full benefit , but he will probably enjoy using it at least once.

I would have given this a much higher rating had there be specific detail that it does not include any seeds in the packet. My daughter was super excited to put it together and then we found out there were no seeds and it’s so hard to order them with the quarantine so she was very disappointed.

Very cool. Had a bean race with my son (his won) that was fun and educational. Customer service was great. The front window cracked and they replaced the whole thing immediately. The second one has been very durable so may have been a fluke or a shipping issue. Very happy with this purchase.

My daughter was studying plants while e-learning, and I thought this would be a fun supplement. It is smaller than I expected, but she has still really enjoyed it. We have two green bean seeds sprouting right now, and my daughter loves seeing how much taller they grow each day.

While I was reading the directions my 5 year old put the whole thing together by herself. So, I assume it has a simple construct. We're growing some beans and I love hownit has 2 sides so both of my young girls can watch their beans grow simultaneously.
