So far so Great. Ok so I’m like most every other gamer in the world. Meaning I didn’t buy my PS5 for a few years after, in case there were bugs or something needed to be found out before I put up the Cash . So by the time I ended up getting one it was 2024. So by then I found a Slim Digital model I ended up finally buying. I absolutely love it and of course I bought everything (well pretty much everything) as far as accessories I could . I was happy with my digital version but really wished I would have bought the Disc drive Bundle. You would think installing something like this Disc drive add on would be somewhat harder to install? Man was I happily mistaken to find out how easy it was to install. PlayStation really hit one out the park when it comes to adding this Drive to my PS5 Slim digital version. Couple snaps off and couple snapped back n was installed. By the time my wife turns around it was instantly installed. Now I can play disc games and/or dvd n blue rays . Now I can unhook the DVD player I had so frees up n HDMI spot in my tv. NEVER got 1 Problem installing it or any since. So far everything works perfectly and am very happy. Please don’t read the reviews saying it’s not worth it or doesn’t work cuz it does with NO issues. I’m happy with everything. ... show more

    • Should Come With The PS5 Pro
For anyone picking up a PS5 Pro, you need this. This should have come with it but Sony has to squeeze every last penny out of its consumers. Easy to install and updated itself after turning the PS5 on.

This should come with every playstation, especially the PS5 Pro, but it is an easy way to get some extra money for Sony I guess. The drive itself is perfect, and installs easily. Be aware, the device needs to be online because the drive has to be registered to your PS5 (I'm guessing to prevent sharing it?). The one thing I do like about this is that the eject button is on the disk attachment, so you won't accidentally hit the eject button instead of the power button like I always did on the old PS5. ... show more
