Description

The first time you burn your diptyque candle, allow it to burn for at least two hours until the whole top is liquid with wax to help it burn more evenly next time. Before lighting, trim the wick to 1/4-inch length, which will allow the candle to burn slowly and will help avoid black marks around the edge of the glass. After blowing out the candle, recenter and straighten the wick.

I adore these candles and don't currently have a Diptyque retailer in the city I live in. Ordering off Amazon is a great option - the candle came perfectly packaged and smelled great, even before lighting. These candles do cost a pretty penny, but they really do offer such a unique combination of fragrance and are quite long-lasting and potent. What does a $60+ candle smell like? Really, really good. Diptyque candles burn slowly and evenly and have a really nice, strong fragrance - I burn mine for maybe half an hour at a time to make the apartment smell all day. I've had mine for months and I'm about 1/3 through it. Baies is my ideal fruity candle - not super sweet, with a little rosy floral note and a tiny bit of amber to temper it. I have had several of these Baies candles (and some other fragrances as well), and I just love this one. Sure, they're expensive, but the quality is there. And this particular fragrance is just intoxicating. It fills up my little apartment with happiness. You do want to burn it long enough the first time to melt the entire top surface, and to keep the wick trimmed and centered. With a little care, you can burn it all the way to the bottom so you get every last cent of scent from it. ... show more

I love diptyque candles except for the cost of them! I have purchased this scent before and it is my favorite. Not to sweet, not to musky, and not obnoxious! I always get compliments when I burn it. It burns evenly and you do get 50-60 hours.

These candles are expensive but so worth the money! This is the second Diptyque candle I’ve had and they do last a long time. Also, once lit, the candle quickly diffuses its scent so you don’t need to burn it for a long time. I purchased the Baies which is berries and it smells heavenly.
