I've been sleeping on this bed for about a month now, and on the whole, it really is a great bed. It was super easy to assemble (mind you I'm a stubborn woman, full of queer spite, and pretty good at Ikea builds), on my own it only took about 30 minutes. It looks great - even the hidden support legs are powder coated- and it has a nice vintage vibe without screaming it in your face. It also is very sturdy - I'm a thick girl (about 230lbs) who thrashes like a shark in her sleep and it's as secure as the day I built it. The only con is, as others have said, she be squeakin'. I think it's inevitable with the metal on metal, and I honestly don't mind - it's not loud, just a little noisy every now and then - and if it really bugs you I'm sure foam or felt washers and some WD40 would shut it right up. For this price you're not going to find a better bed - believe me I scoured the net - just buy it, you won't be sorry! ... show more

seriously so easy to build. the instructions were super straight forward, everything came labeled which made it all 10x easier. my boyfriend and i put this together in about an hour (keep in mind neither of us know how to build anything lol) so this was not too long. it’s super sturdy, a lot more than i expected and the color is GORGEOUS! it really ties the entire room together. i was a bit skeptical about setting my bed directly on there as i have arthritis and a comfy bed is important to me. but it’s literally just as comfortable as before if not more. i have nothing but good things to say! ... show more

    • Cute, easy to assemble and pretty sturdy!
I built it alone and it only took me an hour and a half! Easy instructions with pictures and had everything in the box! It ended up very cute and sturdy! My only issue so far is that my mattress slides a lot because there is nothing to grip it on the sides but will be an easy fix with some tape or adhesive on the bottom of the mattress! This is a fantastic bed for the price! I wanted 2 of them but I was afraid they would be squeaky so I only got one. The bed is very well built - it takes a while to put together because of it. It’s super sturdy and does not squeak at all when you move around. The base is well supported, so no box spring is wanted. Love this frame!! ... show more

Nice frame. Looks great! Some Assembly required is an understatement. But its all pretty straightforward. I was very careful putting it together, and making sure everything was tightened up. Its been used dozens of times for guests, and is very comfortable, and NO SQUEAKS! It is not easy to move around once in place on a carpeted floor, but we don't really need to. ... show more

It's cute, it was affordable and it's got my mattress off the floor. Building it sucked. It took hours, the instructions weren't as clear as I thought they'd be but it's done. It took two people to assemble. It's nice for now until I can afford a better high quality frame.

It was simple to assemble; I did it with a friend in about 40 minutes because I take the time to verify I have all the parts. We had extra hardware perhaps if ever needed to reassemble. It’s a simple frame, saves a lot of space compared to a bulky frame. I believe the value was great for the price, it’s not my forever frame, it would also be great for a guest bedroom someday. I have gotten compliments from my mom and friends on it. I gave it 5 stars for sturdiness because it’s exactly as you would expect a metal bed frame to be. if I grip the head frame or base (foot end) and rock it it’s pretty solid with a little give at the head but it does not wobble at all when I get in and out of it or if the kids hop on.
