    • A Fun Addition to Grandma’s Toy Box
This dinosaur pinball game is really cute and has been a fun little addition to my toy box for when kids and grandkids stop by. It’s colorful, easy for kids to figure out, and has enough going on with the flippers, launcher, obstacles, and dinosaur theme to keep them entertained. The only issue we’ve noticed is that the ball does occasionally get stuck. It’s a little annoying from an adult perspective, but apparently the kids did not receive the memo that they’re supposed to be bothered by it. They just free the ball and keep playing. It’s not a full-size arcade pinball experience, obviously, but for a tabletop kids’ toy it’s cute, entertaining, and easy to pull out when little visitors need something to do. Despite the occasional stuck ball, it’s been getting played with and everyone has been having fun with it, which is really the important part.     • Weak Plastic and Design Flaws
We received this as a gift, and in a couple of days it already has a broken part. The table has suction cups to keep it secure, but with children trying to move the table with the flipper handle/controls themselves, the flipper handle/controls are already broke and do not stay in. The game is still functional, but the flipper handle/controls with just come out on their own now. The walls are also not high enough to contain the balls if they are hit hard enough. This mini pinball game is a fun little tabletop sized activity, especially for younger kids. The dinosaur theme is cute, and the obstacles, flippers, and scoring zones make it entertaining for one or two players. However, the plastic construction is fairly lightweight, so it doesn’t feel as sturdy or durable as I expected. I also found that the balls can occasionally get stuck, which can interrupt the game. Game is great , it entertains the children on game nights , birthdays or when playing with each other in generals. Assembly is easy and the whole thing holds up pretty well. For balls it pretty easy to grab again from the slide in and out. Marble launcher shoots them with a good force to try and get points , controls works great also when hitting the balls. This is a fairly nice tabletop pinball game. It is well made, for the most part, and relatively durable. Some of the plastic pieces seem a little fragile, but it should hold up well as long as some care is use while playing. The game was easy to set up and put together. The pieces were easy to install, and everything lined up like it should. The gameplay is fun. You basically try to shoot the balls at targets to score points. Each target has a path to a tray with different point values. There are a lot of different targets to try and hit, which is really nice. Some of them are difficult to hit, but I guess that is part of the fun. I also really like the dinosaur theme. The concept of this dinosaur pinball machine is great, and visually it looks like it should be a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the actual gameplay falls short. The biggest issue is that several of the features don’t seem to function the way they were intended. The bell, for example, serves very little purpose because the ball seems to pass right underneath it instead of reaching it. Some of the targets are also extremely difficult, if not nearly impossible, to hit. The flippers are another frustration. I would expect them to help keep the ball in play, but the ball can get stuck behind them instead of being redirected back into the game. That quickly takes the fun out of playing. I could see a 7- or 8-year-old having some fun with it initially, but I think they would get bored fairly quickly once they realize that many of the targets are either difficult to reach or don’t really work as expected. Honestly, this feels like a product with a lot of potential that just wasn’t fully developed or tested from a gameplay perspective. The dinosaur theme and overall design are fun, but the mechanics need significant improvement. For me, this is a miss. It looks much more fun than it actually is. ... show more
