Description

As a handheld, the cap touches the object, and you use your thumb to turn the dial and adjust magnification to bring the image into focus. For a more stable image, pair the Dino-Lite with a stand (sold separately). A stand lets you better adjust distance and magnification for better control and sharper focus at the entire available range (20x - 50x and 200x). While handheld, you can focus at two fixed positions—around 50x and 200x—by slightly adjusting the distance and dial. Premier models use a special lens design that lets you focus in two main ranges: from about 20x to 50x, and again around 200x. The middle range isn’t accessible because of how the lens is built.
