DOES NOT work for the All new 2019 Release of Fire 7 as stated. As you can see in my photos, the Fire has the speakers on the side of the tablet. This case has speaker holes in the back of the case. So I guess if you don’t need to hear your speakers very well it will work. I repeat, for the All New Fire 7 2019 release, the speaker holes are in the total wrong spot. ... show more

This case is awesome! We got a kindle as a gift and I immediately went to buy a case that was essentially toddler proof. Poor kindle has been thrown, dropped, and hit. Love how the case is made of a thick and durable, lightweight foam and has a built in handle. We also love how you can flip it for a slight tilt when we use it on the floor. The stands are also made out of the thick foam and very sturdy. Thanks to this case, the kindle is in perfect condition! I also bought a screen protector and the case hasn’t made it bubble or pull it up. Buttons, camera, and charging port are easily accessible! 13 July 2020 update: case is still going strong! We have also found an attachment that goes over the car headrest for watching movies on trips. This thing has been dropped, presses and carried everywhere. We are still amazed that it looks as good as new! ... show more

The cut outs for the buttons and charging cable are in correct positions. Nice, thick, sturdy foam type construction (similar material to the original kids’ case). The handle is great for little and big hands alike and the kickstands on the back are awesome. My 4 year old caught on instantly and already has it set up so he can lay on the floor with it propped up. He also decided it looked like paw patrol, so that made him even happier. I bought this to replace the case they came with as it deteriorated and was so loose the kindle kept falling out. If the other cases go the same way, I’ll definitely be replacing with this one. ... show more

***UPDATE*** The company that produces these contacted me after seeing the issue we had and were more than amazing to deal with. I have since purchased a new one about a week ago and this one is definitely made better. The issue with the previous one seemed to have been an error and my daughter is thrilled to have her favorite case again! Original review - This was a very cute case and definitely offered great protection. Unfortunately for us the legs for the stand kept popping off immediately after receiving it and wouldn't stay in place so we ended up returning it. I don't know if this just happened to be a fluke with the one we got but I didn't want to get a replacement if it was just going to happen again. ... show more

Handle is very kid friendly. Case appears to protect against drops from kid height, but we haven't had it long enough for any big drops. The "kickstands" are helpful if your kiddo will let the surface stay on a flat surface...our kiddo prefers to grab the case by the handle. Only complaint is that it does not have a screen protector, so we are wiping fingerprints constantly. Will definitely be looking for a screen protector to add to this case. Unplanned bonus is that this case fits perfectly in my purse and the. Bright colors (and big soft handle) make it easy to find in dark bags. Would purchase again, but would definitely add a screen protector. ... show more

Seems like a decent case. Not 100% sure about the sturdiness/longevity of the case, but it will do for now. I purchased 2 of these, they came in a ziploc bag ... there was a very strong odor when I opened them. Not sure how to describe it, but my best attempt is "rotten plastic"?! I dont know where they were shipped from, I do know they were on a hot truck to get to me, so I'm sure that has a lot to do with the smell. It did fade after a few hours. I can't recall what material these are supposed to be made of, but it reminds me of styrofoam. Almost like a dog toy. I dont regret my purchase, however, i can see myself potentially ordering different ones in the future. ... show more

My kids love the kitty cat ears, and the handle is perfect for them to hold on to. Also the wings on the back that prop it up are great, whether you want it propped up all the way, or if you spin it around it props it up about 30 degrees (good for when you're using it, as opposed to watching something. This firmness/thickness of the foam is great for keeping the Fire protected, and it the openings for the buttons are not too small that its hard to push the buttons. The only bad thing about it, is that because of the firmness of the foam, its hard to get the fire in and out of it (is this really a bad thing?), and the wings are hard to press all the way back in their places. ... show more
